Staying at HRH. What breakfast options are there :)

Do you have breakfast items in your room or do you go to the restaurants ?

We've never had room service but have eaten the breakfast buffet at The Kitchen. It was good but a little pricey to do every day with our family of 4 and kids that eat like birds in the am. Emack & Bolios has some quicky items if you're in a hurry, bagels, donuts, etc.
We not foodies so maybe someone else can add to this.

i have eaten at the Kitchen at HRH many many times......

the breakfast buffet has everything you can wish or want for.
it is $16.95 but if you have aaa or ap, you get the 10% discount.
the one price covers all cost, includes tea, coffee, juice, etc.

if you eat breakfast there, you won't be hungry until later in the afternoon.
i did breakfast there last fall for 4 mornings in a row.

you can also order off the menu at this restaurant the Kitchen.

Emack and Bolio is fine if you just want coffee and muffin type of breakfast.
not much of a selection.

if you go to city walk, pastamore has a side walk up window for breakfast foods. For $5, you can eat well.
there are tables outside to sit and eat once you get your order.

cinnabon also located in city walk for their usual fare.

room service for breakfast is available.
the food is good but expensive.
it is close to the same cost of the breakfast buffet at the Kitchen if you order room service for eggs, bacon, toast and coffee.

in the room, there is a form to complete and hang on your door that will be picked up if you want in room breakfast the next day.
or you can call star service from your room to order room service. it is listed on the phone, star service button.

i'm sorry but if there are alternatives to The Kitchen's buffet breakfast then I don't know - we went to that and never wanted to eat anywhere else!! :lmao:

In fact that Kitchen breakfast is half the reason we are returning to HRH next year!!:rotfl:

We usually don't eat breakfast at the hotel. We usually grab breakfast at the Boulangerie in Universal or Croissant Moon in IOA.

We are not normally big breakfast people but I think everyone might enjoy one morning at The Kitchen :)
Do we have to pre-book or sort this out on arrival :)

you don't have to pre book.

i would show up at 7:30 in the morning and be taken right to a table.

At around 8:30 ish, depending on the day of the week, you might have to wait for a table.

You can sit inside the Kitchen restaurant area or outside. Tables, chairs are already set up there. The wait staff will bring you your beverages out there if that is what you prefer.

Thanks :) I think we will aim for here on our first day.
Will make a change from breakfast in the villa :)

Our routine is to have one breakfast at the hotel's buffet (HRH's Kitchen or RPR's Island Dining Room, depending upon which hotel we're staying at), one breakfast at The Boulangerie when visiting US, one breakfast at Croissant Moon Bakery when visiting IOA, and one breakfast at Pastamore's Marketplace. That covers us for our typical four morning trips.
