For QS you have the BW Bakery, BC Marketplace (neither has platter-type meals, more like bkfst sandwiches, pastries, yogurt, etc.). For TS you have Cape May Buffet, Captains Grille at YC, Kouzzina at BW (which is fabulous BTW).
There are also a few options at the Swan and Dolphin, including a buffet and a QS.
Ditto on the above - but I'll add my 2 cents - if you're looking for TS - Captain's Grille at YC is one of our favorites. You can order off the menu or get their breakfast buffet which is fabulous!
The Belle Vue Lounge in the BWI also serves a continental breakfast if you don't want to go outside of the hotel. They have your typical coffees, juices, milk, etc. and pastries, yogurts and fruit. You can get bagels, toast. They have toasters to toast your items. I'm pretty sure the pastries come from the Boardwalk Bakery. You can refill your resort mugs here too.
We love Kouzinna for breakfast!
Our favorite treat from the Boardwalk Bakery is a Mickey shaped banana chocolate chip muffin.
There's also Picabu's at the Dolphin, just a short stroll around the villas end of the Boardwalk. It's a "buffeteria" - combination buffet and cafeteria - that serves casual hot breakfasts and is quite inexpensive, compared to the table service breakfast options. There's menu information on page 8 of the BWI and BWV information thread. We also discovered Boardwalk Joe's kiosk one morning when the line for the Boardwalk Bakery was out the door. It isn't widely noted on any of the menus, but in the morning Boardwalk Joe's has hot breakfast sandwiches, much like what it served in the Boardwalk Bakery. That can be an alternative when the Boardwalk Bakery is packed in the morning.
