Breakfast on Dining Plan?

So we're thinking about adding the DP to our 11/07 package. My DD is 10 now and we have to purchase adult credits for her. She doesn't eat as much as an adult (then again, I'm not sure who could eat an app, entree and dessert with the huge Disney-sized portions) .

Here's what we're trying to figure out...if we go somewhere like, Le Cellier--can my DH & I each use one of our TS credits and split our 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts with our 10 & 2 yr old?

We've used the free DP in the past, and felt we'd never purchase it because it was WAY too much food. Usually, we never order apps & desserts...except occasionally we'll split one dessert.

Is this allowed? We'd tip extra for the kids and buy drinks for the kids.

If it's allowed, we'd have my 10 yr old's 7 adult TS credits leftover which would provide DH and I with 3 TS breakfasts to split with the kids.

It would also make the DP worth the $115 per day that it would cost our family.

Its very easy to share CS meals. I'd do this with your CS credits for breakfast. You'd still have CS credits to share for another meal that day.

Thanks for the tip on sharing CS meals. How about sharing TS meals??

I am betting yes, you probably could at some places, but not all. It's worth a try; or you could order her a kids' meal OOP unless that would even be too much. Then yes, you would have left over credits to use for breakfast. I'm sure some people will flame me for saying to try it, but it's not like you're cheating, you're just trying not to waste food. I found all the servers we had very accommodating and friendly, so all you can do is ask! (And make a couple more ADRs for breakfast just in case -yeah, I'll get flamed for that, too... ).
