Breakfast on DHS day?

Should we have bfast at Ohana or Play & Dine at Hollywood & Vine on our DHS morning? Which has better food for DH and I & character interaction for my DD?

The breakfast is EXCELLENT at Play & Dine. Since I discovered the place in November, I've eaten there 4 times!! We try to book an early breakfast (8am - 8:10am) and are finished in time to be first in line for rope drop, and one of the first on Toy Story Mania.

We have no children, and really don't know the characters at Play & Dine, but the food is so good it doesn't matter

We ate at Play & Dine in 2008 & Ohana in 2009.

Play & Dine had more variety in food. My DH was tickled as they had hash and make your own breakfast tacos w/chorizo. The resteraunt was not close to being full - so we got a lot of character interaction. They sing familiar songs with the kids - like the Hot Dog Dance, and lead them in a parade. JoJo and Goliath are there, which some kids may not recognize, since they no longer have a show on Disney.

Ohanas was great too. The interaction was faster - but still great. The food was wonderful.

I don't think you can miss with either one - but if you are going to be at DHS that day, if you can get an early ADR for Play & Dine, you'll be that much further ahead.

Play & Dine!! So much fun for the kids. It's the only character meal where the kids can get up and dance and interact with the characters. It's a must do for us each trip!

With your kids age I would definitely say Play and Dine over Ohana. Another character breakfast option near DHS that I have heard good things about is Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club.

Cape May is one of our favorite B-fasts, good character interaction, good food/service. Hollywood & Vine is also very nice, good buffet, fun interaction. Also a nice photo op, as you can get into DHS before opening. Ohana is one of our least favorite choices. Going over our possibilities for this year's trip, it's the 1st one out by my sons ( 7&9).
