Breakfast - Ohana or 1900 PF

i need help deciding which breakfast! It's me, DH, and DS(3). We are staying at Poly and it will be on our non-park day.

Here's my dilemma - DS knows the characters at Ohana and no so much 1900 PF. We did do Ohana last year and know it's family style and fairly limited. We've never done 1900 PF but seems like there are more choices with it being a buffet. Looks like they cost the same.

What would you choose??

They are both excellent choices! There are definitely more food options at 1900 Park Fare. Since you've already done ohana, maybe give that one a try. You could show your son some videos or books of the characters so he will recognize them when he sees them in person. You really can't go wrong with either choice!

Thanks! That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure if it was the best choice. If only I could just eat everywhere :)

We did both a couple weeks ago. If I could only do one, I think I'd choose 1900 park fare. Tigger is fun, pooh is sweet. Mary poppins was engaging, Alice was kind of a dud when we were there and I could have lived without the obnoxious mad hatter though others seemed to enjoy him...including my teens. It was just too early for me to enjoy him yelling across the restaurant. The food was much better at 1900 park fAre though and so much to choose from.

At Ohana, our food was just ok. Runny eggs, soggy bacon...eh. Stitch was awesome, but lilo acted like a princess :)... Quick stop, signed autographs quick pic and she was on to next table. I think our Pluto was a little over the top too. Was "licking" my 3 yr olds head and he got uncomfortable and was squirming to get away and Pluto wasn't picking up on it. It was a little weird. Of course you can't lose with Mickey. Do you have other character meals to meet Mickey?

We've been to both. From a side by side comparison, I'd give the edge to 1900. Real picky breakfast eaters will have more choices and enjoy the 1900 PF buffet a little better too.

Thanks for the insight! We do plan to meet Mickey in MK and also the Epcot character spot. Is there somewhere else we can meet stitch? I'm sure DH would like to meet him again! I am leaning towards 1900 PF I think for more variety which I'm sure DH would appreciate since breakfast is his favorite meal.

We've done both also and have had great experiences at both. Since you have done Ohana already I would suggest also as others have the 1900 PF breakfast. One of the great ideas above was to show your son a book or videos that have the characters. Our daughter loved Winnie the Pooh and Tigger at that age!! When I asked her for advice about your situation (she is 8 now) she chose the Supercalifragilistic breakfast enthusiastically!

You can meet Stitch in Mk by the stage near carousel of progress he walks around sometimes.

I agree Ohanna food is just ok. 1900 park fare is really good food with allot of choices. Plus it was a bonus for us to take the Ferry from Mk to GF.

e have done both with our kids. We prefer Ohana, I enjoy the characters and food more at Ohana. My daughter is super picky but they have mickey waffles there which is all she really likes to eat for breakfast. My kids were never really into the Alice / Mad Hatter so they did not enjoy the characters as much as Ohana. Plus after breakfast you can go right out to the pool which is always nice to have an "enjoy the resort pool" day. :-)
