Breakfast, lunch or dinner at BOG?

Sorry, I was wondering if you could clarify this a bit? We currently have an 8:45am reservation for BOG with a 9:00am park opening. Are you saying we could get into the park early, ride a ride (or 2!), and THEN head over to BOG for breakfast?

I was actually curious about the whole breakfast pre-rope drop thing, so I guess this is as good a place as any to ask.

Additional to my question above: For our 8:45am reservation, are we allowed into the park at the same time as ALL of the pre-rope drop breakfast people?

My original thought was if we could, get in real early with everyone else and hope to eat earlier than the actual 8:45 reservation, then try to hit a ride before the rope drops. But, if we can get in with everyone else, it might make more sense to hit a ride first (if they start running pre-rope drop) and then still have time to hit breakfast at 8:45.

Sorry about the questions. This is our forth trip to the World, but the first time we are able to hit the parks early (no kids this time, hah!), and so the first time we have thought of pre-rope drop reservations. Thank you!

No the rides/attractions don't start running until the park is officially open, so you won't be able to ride until the park opens. If your ADR is 8:45 with 9 am opening, the park will be open and lines full by time you finish. They may however let you in sooner along with the others (when we went they weren't checking times just if you had an ADR by scanning your MB) and you have some good photo opportunities on Main Street, in front of Castle and some of Fantasyland area. CMs will be blocking off other areas.

How it works ... Say park opens at 9 am, you have an 8 am ADR for BOG. You finish your meal at 8:45, walk out to the 7DMT and are first in line to ride or better yet they send all the early birds in to the FP+ line to ride and you get out to ride again or get first in standby line. That depends on when they truly open the gates. When I went they opened the gates about 8:45 so by time we rode once, the mass had already arrived. It's a way to be first in line before the rope drop folks get there IF you are able to eat and be done that fast.

We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at BOG last week. We enjoyed all three. I would only do breakfast if I could get an 8:00am again. Dinner was fun for the beast, but the food was equally as good at lunch. The onion soup is amazing.

I know this is moot, since I saw on another thread that you now have an earlier ADR. However, to clarify, no, you won't be able to go on a ride and then go to your ADR. The PP was referring to a specific situation where they open the queues for SDMT and A&Es M&G a few minutes before RD. This allows early diners in the MK, who have already finished their breakfast, to get into the queue and even finish the attraction before the RD crowd arrives.

If you have a later pre opening breakfast, you can usually enter the park earlier and try to get seated earlier than your ADR time.
