Breakfast. Lunch.Dinner

I don't do breakfast in the parks. I usually do rope drop at the park without EMH, and am busy trying to get through attractions. But I will do breakfast at Steakhouse 55 the day I fly out.

Lunch I will eat at Cafe Orleans one day during my visit, the other days I pick a quick service somewhere.

I will do dinner at Cathay Circle and Blue Bayou each once per visit.

At Disneyland, for breakfast we like Carnation Cafe or Riverbelle Terrace before it was moved to Rancho. At DCA we like Flo's. Their chicken tamale is pretty good. In DTD, Starbuck's and at the GCH we like Storyteller's or Whitewater snacks.

At Disneyland for lunch we looove The PLaza Inn's fried chicken. :cloud9: Same for dinner.

DH loves Award Wieners in DCA. Corn dogs in either park are always a hit. EoS in DTD is always good for a cheap and yummy lunch.

For dinner we love The Golden Vineyard in DCA, wine flights and an appetizer. Club 33 never disappoints. ;) We also enjoy the Hearthstone Lounge and Napa Rose at the GCV.

We are not breakfast ppl either (for me instead of coffee it is Diet Coke) but loved the beignets (and the french toast beignets) at Ralph Brennan's, their take out is open early for breakfast.

For lunch in DCA, Cove Bar for nachos or cones in the Cozy Cones. In DLR we like Rancho Del Zocalo. We like cs for lunch and then a nice ts for dinner. Carthay is our favorite :) If we are not very hungry then we just do a snack for lunch and then an early dinner- that way we are done when everyone is going to dinner.

I have no idea what French toast beignets are but omg it sounds like heaven. I have never ate at zocalo since I'm not sure how authentic it is inly because we are Mexican and sometimes Mexican food in theme parks is not really Mexican food to us but I've been wanting to try that one and the other one in DCA I can't recall the name.

A friend of mine raves about the cinnamon rolls at Starbucks. That's where they eat breakfast every time. So, that would go good with your coffee for a light breakfast. We usually eat breakfast and dinner and snack if we get hungry buy skip lunch. We like breakfast at Carnation Cafe. Dinner we like at Plaza Inn (fried chicken meal) or we go to DTD to The House of Blues I love their ribs.
Ribs sound Good after a long day at the park. I'm definitely going to put that on the list.
Breakfast we usually pick up McDonalds if we're staying on Harbor or something in DTD (Starbucks or Jamba juice). We used to go to the River Bell once in a while, but haven't had breakfast in the park since it got moved to Zocalo. Walked by and it smells amazing though.

Lunch is usually Pizza Port or one of the quick grabs in ToonTown in DL or Award Weiners or Cocina Cucamonga at DCA.

We don't eat dinner at DL that often because we usually go for a day and try to get out before the insane nighttime crowds. When we take a longer trip though, we like either of the Mexican food places, or we'll just grab something wherever we happen to be. Flo's Diner is sometimes fun. Don't love the food, but love the evening atmosphere. I miss Big Thunder Ranch BBQ, btw. :(
I really can't do mc Donald's or Denny's and I'm more impatient than my DD to get to the park that I don't want a sit down breakfast I will leave my family behind if they don't hurry up eating lol

And what do you mean you miss big thunder ranch is it closed? When did they close it? we ate there last time it's nice simple food that everyone likes

Big Thunder Ranch closed a few months ago. Star Wars Land is taking over the entire area and then some. They're serving BBQ at one of the other restaurants, but it doesn't have the same ambiance and fun.

As for McDonalds, one of us grabs it to go and the rest of us go through security to get in line. We usually get there an hour before rope drop, so we have a while to wait and eat then.

Haven't seen this anywhere in this thread, but I like the advice of the guys who write the Unofficial Guide: Breakfast? Why would you waste time on breakfast in the parks?

I really like to have something simple and quick in the room while we're getting ready. We usually have yogurt/granola, or power bars, or muffins, and coffee/juice in the room. Most hotel rooms have small fridges. Especially when you're doing rope drop/MM. I sometimes just eat a power bar while standing in line at the gate before MM. Sometimes we go to a late breakfast/brunch after knocking down lots of early morning, short-lined rides. It's an ideal time to do a leisurely character breakfast. That pretty much holds us for lunch, until we go back to the hotel room for rest and a snack.

If your hotel has breakfast, and it's open in time for you to get to the gates as early as you like, that's a good way to go. Continental breakfast does me fine.

I like to do Blue Bayou for the earliest lunch seating 11:30, one day during our visit, and get waterside seating without a wait.

Saving a couple of nicer meals for the evenings this trip. One chef's counter at Napa Rose, and I think I'd like to try Carthay Circle.

Had a nice solo lunch at Wine Country Trattoria last year with the WOC dining package.
I agree with who ever that guy is I am not wasting park time eating uless I'm there for a week then I might spare a day to eat breakfast in the park. I really can't do continental breakfast since dairy is not my friend and if I'm going to have fairy it's going to be dessert lol and CC is on my list to try I don't see that happening this time we are going but you never know

We were staying at the GCH and wanted breakfast sammies from White Water Snacks for breakfast but that didn't work with our rope drop emh/mm plans.. Crazy Mom :-)idea. Walked down to get them but they weren't open yet. Oops. Ended up in the lounge where they had awesome coffee, huge buttery croissants and some dynamite muffins, not to mention wicked friendly cast members! Needless to say, that worked for us! We went for late lunches at table service places (Carnation Cafe and Cafe Orleans) and had a snack before bed. Happy happy!

We're staying at the GCH at the end of July. I'm interested to know if the muffins/croissants are a regular thing, and, if so, is there also fruit? My kids (teens) are not big breakfast eaters and would be more excited to get into the park early, then slow down later to eat.

House of Blues closed in DtD and moved to GardenWalk. Not sure if it is open yet.
BTRBBQ closed for the SWL construction. For the closest thing to the BTRBBQ menu, eat at RBT. It is TS, so a reservation would be helpful.

We were there in May and they were out in the bar/lounge area every day in the early a.m. There may have been whole fruit, like apples, but I'm not 100% sure. There were usually three or four muffin choices and the butter croissants. May have been a danish or two also. I brought them back to the room along with coffees and we ate while we got ready. Worked out well for us and it was fun walking around an empty hotel!
