Where do you like to have breakfast, lunch and dinner? Aside from Character meals.

DH and i are more of a coffee and go type of people. Mornings at Disneyland we can not sit and eat breakfast inside the park and wacth everyone else enjoying themselves before us :laughing:Should we opt for Starbucks before the parks at downtown disney? Are they always busy in the morning like at 7:15? Can i pre-order adn will it take long? Any other quick service restaurants? We could go grab FP and sit and eat but i will be telling everyone to hurry up lol.

Lunch time i can sit and enjoy. I don't mind either a corn dog (my fav) or a good inexpensive plate like under $15 per person.

Dinner we will be having one at GK:cool1: but need to other choices either inside the park our nearby. no driving.

I skip breakfast. Lunch at Cafe Orleans or the cafeteria style place next to it. At DCA I like the Pacific Wharf bakery. Dinner is usually lighter, maybe Red Rocket's Pizza Port or the other cafeteria style place at DCA. I wouldn't turn down an evening at Blue Bayou or Carthay Circle though.

We go to Starbucks every morning for an on the go breakfast and coffee. Sometimes on our last day we will do Carnation Cafe.

For lunch we usually do counter service like Rancho, Plaza Inn, Pacific Wharf Cafe, or corn dogs.

For dinner we like to have nice, relaxing dinners so we usually do a table service each night. Our go-to's are Tortilla Joe's, Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, Cafe Orleans, and Wine Country Trattoria.

I can not skip breakfast lunch maybe but not breakfasat i need coffee (if thats even breakfast) anything in new orleans area sounds pretty good to me and im with you on not turning down BB or CC. Im more of a light breakfast but nice dinner especially since i might not eat trough out the day. I don't count churros as eating

We coffee (well, sugary espresso drinks) for breakfast too at the parks! I agree with grabbing it in downtown Disney before the parks open so you don't waste park time in the Starbucks line. We have been know to wait until New Orleans Square and grab some beignets and mochas at the Mint Julep Stand as well (don't know if they have coffee, or how good it is). We like a long TS lunch so can't comment there. For CS dinner our favorite is Plaza Inn, you can easily split the fried chicken between two people and it comes with veggies and mashed potatoes! (I've been craving that lately- lol!) It's always a hit with my family.

mmmmm beignets i sooo want some now. I could eat them for breakfst lunch and dinner.. And i might be the odd one but im so not a fan of fried chicken--I will eat the mashed potatoes though

If you're at DCA, I like Flo's for breakfast. My kid is normally a picky eater, but loved the Cars character waffles. They weren't a traditional waffle shape, but kind of like a pancake even though they went through a waffle iron.

We like to get breakfast at Starbucks or Jamba Juice in DTD and eat while we're waiting for the park to open so we're not wasting precious early morning park time in line for food, and then we refuel with a snack around 10am.

The Paradise Garden Grill in DCA just re-opened, a spot which I really enjoy for lunch! There is a huge shady seating area and they have a live band off and on throughout the day. The menu is unique for DLR, and features skewers with rice, flatbread and cucumber salad. Yum! Plus, they could use all the customers they can get because despite being delicious, they are never crowded.

Cafe Orleans was awesome for an early dinner with great people watching and much less congestion since Fantasmic is on hiatus.

Have fun!

We were staying at the GCH and wanted breakfast sammies from White Water Snacks for breakfast but that didn't work with our rope drop emh/mm plans.. Crazy Mom :-)idea. Walked down to get them but they weren't open yet. Oops. Ended up in the lounge where they had awesome coffee, huge buttery croissants and some dynamite muffins, not to mention wicked friendly cast members! Needless to say, that worked for us! We went for late lunches at table service places (Carnation Cafe and Cafe Orleans) and had a snack before bed. Happy happy!

We are not breakfast ppl either (for me instead of coffee it is Diet Coke) but loved the beignets (and the french toast beignets) at Ralph Brennan's, their take out is open early for breakfast.

For lunch in DCA, Cove Bar for nachos or cones in the Cozy Cones. In DLR we like Rancho Del Zocalo. We like cs for lunch and then a nice ts for dinner. Carthay is our favorite :) If we are not very hungry then we just do a snack for lunch and then an early dinner- that way we are done when everyone is going to dinner.

We usually only eat 2 meals a day, and snack as we get hungry. Our usual hotel has free breakfast so we eat breakfast there. Late lunch or early dinner at Carnation Cafe or Pacific Wharf Cafe (delicious breadbowls!). Sometimes we leave the park and eat somewhere on Harbor. This trip we're trying BB for the first time so I'm excited about that! My husband never wanted to eat there but he's not coming on this trip so I finally get to try it!

A friend of mine raves about the cinnamon rolls at Starbucks. That's where they eat breakfast every time. So, that would go good with your coffee for a light breakfast. We usually eat breakfast and dinner and snack if we get hungry buy skip lunch. We like breakfast at Carnation Cafe. Dinner we like at Plaza Inn (fried chicken meal) or we go to DTD to The House of Blues I love their ribs.

Thats great news!! I was so mad when i found out they had closed because they are one of the very few places where you can get somewhat healthy food in the parks. :)

Breakfast we usually pick up McDonalds if we're staying on Harbor or something in DTD (Starbucks or Jamba juice). We used to go to the River Bell once in a while, but haven't had breakfast in the park since it got moved to Zocalo. Walked by and it smells amazing though.

Lunch is usually Pizza Port or one of the quick grabs in ToonTown in DL or Award Weiners or Cocina Cucamonga at DCA.

We don't eat dinner at DL that often because we usually go for a day and try to get out before the insane nighttime crowds. When we take a longer trip though, we like either of the Mexican food places, or we'll just grab something wherever we happen to be. Flo's Diner is sometimes fun. Don't love the food, but love the evening atmosphere. I miss Big Thunder Ranch BBQ, btw. :(

Regarding your questions about the DtD Starbucks, you can order ahead using the app. We order before boarding the tram at M&F, and by the time we hit Starbucks, our order is ready. You can also try the breakfast sandwiches at EOS (not sure what time they open) or the breakfast burritos at Tortilla Jo's Taqueria. We usually bring protein bars and get a beverage at Starbucks. A sit down breakfast in the parks is a treat for us. There are plenty of places to eat in the parks, DtD, on Harbor, and at GardenWalk on Katella. What sort of food and budget are you seeking?

Depends. Note - I come with two young boys.

Breakfast: When we stay at somewhere on Harbour Blvd, Denny's is the go-to. It's busy, but I've never waited longer than 5 minutes. We usually have some leftover toast or pancakes, so I get them in a to-go container so the kids can snack later in a line-up or something. Good variety of food, and they have options like egg-white omelettes, etc. Good serving sizes, so the kids can get a bunch of protein. They're also good about giving me coffee in a to-go cup when we leave. We try and do one character meal per visit, and the last few times it's been the Minnie and Friends in the Park. One of the main reasons is because you can book it before the park officially opens when you're staying offsite, and you go through a separate entrance with no lineup. It's nice, especially on the balcony.

The one time we stayed at PPH, we did Jamba Juice a couple mornings.

Lunch: If we've had a big breakfast, sometimes this is a bit more snacky with things from home (cheese, crackers, fruit, etc.) It might be corndogs or a sit down at Cafe Orleans. RDZ, etc.

Dinner: If we're staying offsite on Harbour, Pizza Press is a good go-to for bringing food back to our room. We did do Thunder Ranch BBQ once before they closed it, and it was fantastic and a good option with kids. I hope they can bring back it or something similar (fixed menu family style dining.)

For Breakfast we always do the Starbucks In DCA first thing between walking in the park and official rope drop since the line is usually short.

For Lunch we get kabobs at either Bengal BBQ or Paradise Garden.

Dinner is usually Gumbo from Royal Street Veranda or Chicken nuggets from Stage Door.

Midnight snack is always Pizza Press!

Haven't seen this anywhere in this thread, but I like the advice of the guys who write the Unofficial Guide: Breakfast? Why would you waste time on breakfast in the parks?

I really like to have something simple and quick in the room while we're getting ready. We usually have yogurt/granola, or power bars, or muffins, and coffee/juice in the room. Most hotel rooms have small fridges. Especially when you're doing rope drop/MM. I sometimes just eat a power bar while standing in line at the gate before MM. Sometimes we go to a late breakfast/brunch after knocking down lots of early morning, short-lined rides. It's an ideal time to do a leisurely character breakfast. That pretty much holds us for lunch, until we go back to the hotel room for rest and a snack.

If your hotel has breakfast, and it's open in time for you to get to the gates as early as you like, that's a good way to go. Continental breakfast does me fine.

I like to do Blue Bayou for the earliest lunch seating 11:30, one day during our visit, and get waterside seating without a wait.

Saving a couple of nicer meals for the evenings this trip. One chef's counter at Napa Rose, and I think I'd like to try Carthay Circle.

Had a nice solo lunch at Wine Country Trattoria last year with the WOC dining package.
