Well, since finding out in my last post that Tony's really does not have a sit down breakfast anymore, does anyone know of a place that my family and I can go to for a nice breakfast? We would like to order from a menu, not eat from a buffet, and I am having trouble finding a place where we can go a restaurant for breakfast! Any ideas?

Oh my Dad is much more interested in a relaxing menu based meal rather than a buffet--perhaps because sit down meals are a bit nicer/fresher then buffet.

If you're looking for a non-buffet breakfast, I'm afraid there aren't any in the MK (there's Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Royal Table, both all-you-can-eat).

However, the Kona Cafe has an excellent, relaxing breakfast - and it's on the monorail loop. I believe Uncleromulous said he goes here for breakfast before the MK, it's a great choice.

It's not ordering off of a menu but, it's also not buffet...Main Street Bakery is one of our favorite places to eat in WDW. You know that you won't have to wait for your food which is a plus in the morning hours at the Magic Kingdom...so that you can eat and get on your way into the park while the crowds are still minimal. If you do decide however, that you wouldn't mind a buffet the Crystal Palace is excellent. Hope this helps.

I second this!! We love the Kona Cafe for all meals, including breakfast. Relaxing meal, excellent food, decent prices. It's right there across the lake from the MK and since it's on the monorail line you can just walk out the front door of the Polynesian and within minutes you'll be back at the MK. :sunny:

We still miss Tony's Breakfast - wish they'd bring that back!
You might want to try the Grand Floridian at their Cafe. It's been a while, but we used to have breakfast there and although a bit pricier it was definitely a sit down breakfast experience. Check www.allearsnet.com they might even show a menu. Then, either hop on the monorail or the boat and head over the MK.
I'm getting hungry just thinking of strawberries w/ whipped topping...yummm.
