Just bumping this up for you, Toni. I'm sure someone will soon be along to help.

I think if you stay on the Admiral's Floor at Newport Bay you get to have breakfast somewhere different to people staying in the standard rooms. However, if you choose the early breakfast slot it seems to be very quiet at all the hotels then.

I can't say for the Newport Bay but at the Santa Fe (well known for it's brekkie scrums) the earlier you can have breakfast the better to avoid those who aren't good at getting out of bed! I'd especially try and avoid the 8am and 8.30am slots as these are the busiest.

The other way to do it is to get the latest brekkie slot possible but this could loose you valuable park time especially during any EMH that may be on.

We have stayed in both the Cheyenne and the Newport bay, I think they were both about the same to be honest. I do remember that earlier on it was much, much less busy. There was one time slot, around 8 till half past which was really busy and people were queuing up stairs at the back of the hotel. So like cap'n'jack said it might be best to avoid the 8-8.30 slots. We went at half 7 and I can't remember a queue then.

Although we stayed on the Admirals floor we were seated in the normal breakfast rooms.

Hi, we stayed in the newport bay in september. When you check in you say what time you want breakfast. We chose the early one from 7am. it is best to go early as not many people are up and about. We walked past later as we were going to the parks and they were queing down the stairs to get in. You get given cards at check in for each day you are day and you just hand in the card before entering the restaurant.

Very nice croissants, pain aux chocolat, bread rolls, sliced meat, yoghurts, bowl fruit salad, cereals, tea, coffee, juice and milk. In the cape cod restuarant, which we went in on the last day they had a toasting machine with sliced bread.

Hope you get on ok.

Thank you all for your replies,

I cant wait to go, and the early slot really isnt an issue as we are going for my DS 1st birthday, he is already obsessed with mickey and tigger, i have taught him well!!!
