Breakfast in DL & DCA

I second the French toast at Flo's, although the sauce can be a bit on the sweet side.

Red Rose is really the only QS option in Disneyland; but there are a couple simple options at Jolly Holiday.

Did something happen to Rancho del Zocalo? That's where the Riverbelle Terrace breakfast went when it became TS. RDZ has a good seating area, too, to enjoy breakfast.

Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland Terrace also serves breakfast. Jolly Holiday has a decent egg croissant sandwich, quiche I think, and lots of sweet options. There is also Market House which features a mix of Disney and Starbucks offerings and the coffee cart on Main Street. Other than Flo's and Fiddler, Fifer, and Practical (more Starubucks) I'm hard-pressed to think of breakfast options inside DCA. The seasonal donut at Schmoozies is popular if only for its instagrammability.

Love Flo's for breakfast. DD9 and I split the delicious french toast this past weekend.

White Water Snacks in the GCH isn't technically in the parks but is another decent option.

Jolly Holiday and Fiddler, Fifer and Practical both have pastries, cinnamon rolls etc. FF&P you do have to deal with the Starbucks mayhem though.

Breakfast has moved from Rancho to Red Rose Tavern. I have only tried Red Rose Tavern once so far. I was very excited going in but somewhat disappointed by the result. I will give it another try on a future visit probably in case they were just having an off day. Btw, we ordered the specialty items rather than the basics so maybe they just don't have these newer menu items perfected yet. We visited in July though, so the menu had at least been in use for a while.

What kind of stuff do they serve at Galactic Grill? The usual?

That's now moved from RDZ to Red Rose Tavern.

Breakfast is also "back" at River Belle but is now table service since that restaurant was converted away from quick service.

Oh crud! Thanks for the info!

Breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, french toast sticks. Typical fast food type breakfast. DH and DS got something there sometime in the last year. I haven't eaten there in years. When my kids were little, their breakfasts were one of the best bargains in the park since they were fairly cheap and included a drink. Those days are long gone.

The breakfast platters from Red Rose are pretty good. They give you a ton of food for a decent price (I think the platters are $8 and $9 depending on what you get). They also have a Mickey pancake plate there.
I tried the American breakfast from Flo's a while ago and didn't care for it. My food felt cold even though I picked it up as soon as it became ready in the mobile order window. I want to try the French Toast next time I go!

The one item I was disappointed with was the Flatbread. It was dry and lacked flavor. I'm going to stick with the platters from now on.

Oh no--no more chilaquiles? So RDZ doesn't do any breakfast? Does RRT do chilaquiles?

Yes, this was our experience with the flatbread. We also got the open-face croque madame which I was excited to try. It was interesting, but not as good as I hoped. The toast was overdone and tough. There were definitely kitchen issues that morning. We did mobile order. I clicked the "we are here" about 1 minute before walking in. We waited at the mobile window. There was one person waiting ahead of us. There were 2 other people with CMs at the register. We waited and waited and watched all 3 sets of people get served plus another 4 sets of people order with the CMs at register and get served before us. The CM at the window knew we were waiting so that wasn't the issue. When our food was given to us finally, we went right to a table to start eating it, and it already wasn't hot. So I really don't know what was going on in the kitchen that morning, and I'm willing to try again to see it I have a better experience. I do think though that both Riverbelle and Rancho were better set up for prepping and serving breakfast foods.

Still sounds like it could be a good option for DH and I. Thanks for the info!

Red Rose and Flos are the two go-to.

The Croque madame and Breakfast Platters satisfied my group at RRT.
