Breakfast in DCA

FF&P (Starbucks), Flo's, 1 Cozy Cone is open and Ariel's (TS).

Ariel's Grotto does a Character Breakfast.

Flo's V8 Cafe has a breakfast menu

So does the Pacific Wharf Cafe

The Starbucks (aka Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe has breakfast snacks/Bakery items.

Storytellers Cafe at the GCH also has a character breakfast, and you can re-enter the park using the GCH entrance with your receipt.

Thanks. Any one have a menu link for the cozy cone? Thought it served breakfast but can't seem to find it listed anywhere.

No breakfast at Pacific Wharf anymore. They don't even open when the park opens.

I would only do Whitewater Snacks before the park opens. Otherwise you're going through security twice if you leave to have breakfast there. I don't think it's worth it in the morning to go through that twice.

Schmoozies is open when the park opens, they have coffee and smoothies. Sometimes they have muffins, but it seems to be seasonal. I wouldn't plan on finding food there, and the smoothie menu is limited.

We like Flo's; the chicken tamale is nice and we get extra pico and sauce for the eggs.

Cozy Cones are listed as being open when the park opens. I wonder what they serve if not breakfast specific items. Maybe just drinks? I've noticed that the popcorn cone opens later, I wonder if they serve churros first thing in the morning.

The breakfast cones were introduces in 2013, but I'm not sure if they have still survived.
I thought they still had them too, but they're not on the menu.I saw this from early July:

I remember the Southwest scramle they mention, it had guacamole and black beans on top.

But then I found someone's blog from late August that said they had churros and pretzels at Cozy Cones for breakfast. I don't know if that means that's all that was there, that's what they had instead of egg cone, or maybe they even had their "breakfast" after breakfast hours.

I'd investigate, but honestly, I'm not going to rush down to DCA at park opening and go straight to Cozy Cones any time soon. Maybe during SW half weekend.

Well that's too bad, but yeah, we're usually not over there for breakfast. We're either at DL or go to Storytellers or just Starbucks.

My family likes the breakfast at Flo's Diner, especially the potatoes. We always order a fruit platter and share.
Fiddler Fifel and Practical offers standard Starbucks items including a couple of breakfast sandwiches (bacon gouda and egg on a croissant), for example. There are a few places in DTD when you are walking to the parks you can grab something, from Jamba Juice, Starbucks, etc.

The Pacific Wharf stopped serving breakfast 2-3 years ago. I really miss it!

Cozy Cone usually has the 3rd cone open with the Chicken Verde and the Mac and Cheese with bacon cone available. There are also some bread snack items at cone 4 (twists and pretzels such.) The ice cream and popcorn comes open later.

There is also a cart by the bridge going to Ariels that has coffee and breakfast items such as cinnamon rolls and muffins.

And, Jolly Holiday stopped offering their croissant breakfast sandwich too. I finally decided that was what I wanted and ended up with a muffin.

Generally as a local I don't find it worth it to have breakfast in the parks with what they offer. I can just as easily spend a few minutes making it at home and then use that early morning time for rides. The few times I've been in the parks for breakfast the last few years I've been disappointed with the QS options. And especially the vegetarian options.

I think breakfast in the parks is getting less popular, as more and more non-Disney nearby Hotels and Motels offer a decent free hot breakfast nowadays, add to that the locals who will eat prior to arriving, and you have less demand.

With the new security, DTD breakfast had become less appealing. With newer security and being able to pass between Harbor and DTD without going through security to get back in the parks, it becomes a bit easier. But Whitewater is still too much of a hassle, to me.
