We are leaving next month for our vacation. I was just tweaking some of our reservations and we are having 3 breakfasts at Cape May. I strongly suspect that will be at least 1 too many.

We've never eaten there before, but because we are staying at the Yacht Club, we thought it would be very convenient to eat there. Also, even though we are doing the Deluxe plan, most nights we have picked a Signature selection. I thought a buffet breakfast plus a snack (or two) at one of the parks would tide us over until dinner.

Would you suggest anywhere else to have breakfast in the area of the Yacht Club? We didn't care for Akershus on a previous visit. We have Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, Tusker House, and Captain's Grille reserved for other days.

Kouzzina on the Boardwalk has wonderful breakfast - that would be my recommendation. We were there in April, and I just made another reservation for our November trip.

Equally convenient to have your breakfast in/near the park you are going to that mornings. MK morning? Breakfast at CP is easiest; monorail buffets include CM and The Wave at CR, Ohana at Poly, and 1900 PF at GF. AK morning? Tusker House. HS has a breakfast at Hollywood & Vine but I have never been there and unless you have very very young kids who like those specific characters, I know the restaurant does not get good reviews here on the Dis.

Because I agree that no matter how good Cape May is, 3 times in 1 trip sounds like overkill.

Mine, too. It's a short walk from the Yacht Club, and the food is excellent. It's one of my favorite breakfast spots in all of WDW.

I didn't realize the Wave was a buffet. Let me go check if that's available. Thanks!

Kouzzina or Captain's Grill. (No characters at either)

Thanks everyone. I just revamped our dining plans AGAIN (much to my DH's chagrin -- he doesn't quite get my quest for trying to make the trip the best possible). We are now only eating at Cape May for one breakfast. I substituted Kouzzina for one and eliminated the other reservation altogether. I replaced that one with a lunch reservation at Rose and Crown.

These are our ressies:
Breakfasts:
Chef Mickey
Cape May
Tusker House
Captain's Grille
Crystal Palace
Kouzzina

Lunches:
Beaches and Cream
Sci Fi
Rose and Crown
Coral Reef
Chefs de France

Dinners:
Cape May
Flying Fish
Mickey's BBQ
Yachtsman
Hoop Dee Doo
Mama Melrose F! Dining Pkg
Tutto Italia
Citrico's

While I love Cape May breakfast I would not eat there three times in one trip. Why dont you try Kouzzina and Fresh at the Dolphin? Or go to Kona, that place is awesome!
