Breakfast - favorites?

Olivia's at OKW. The Banana Bread Toast is awesome! And the breakfast potatoes are pretty great as well. :thumbsup2

Kona Cafe at the Polynesian for the Tonga Toast. Awesome!!:lovestruc

What exactly is Tonga Toast? I want to try it my next trip to WDW because I have been hearing a lot of people talking a bout it? What's on it? Where at the Polynesian? Kona's Ohana's or the food court?

Tonga Toast
Kona Cafe
Polynesian Resort

Ingredients:

2 or 4 slices sourdough bread, cut 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick
1 banana
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
oil or shortening for frying
whipped butter and/or syrup

Also at Captain Cook's at the Poly but without the strawberry sauce.

At the parks, I don't really have many recommendations. I like the Rainforest Café at Animal Kingdom. I don't do character meals or buffets, so that limits things a bit. A lot of the quick service options are the same everywhere so I don't feel the need to recommend one over any others. But yeah, I like the Rainforest Café's breakfast.

At resorts, Kouzzina, the Grand Floridian Café and Olivia's are all very good. The Kona Café is decent, though I don't love it like a lot of people do.

I thought Boma's breakfast was really good. The pancakes were so delicious with a cup of pressed pot coffee and African Frunch, yum! :goodvibes

Resort: Kona: Tonga Toast or Macadamia Pancakes

Park: I haven't had anything in the parks that was overly special foodwise

Resort: Kona or Grand Floridian Cafe, we tried both and thought both tasted delicous. We thought that the grand Floridian Cafe breakfast was far superior though. Try the bagel with smoked salmon, and tons of toppings, Delicous!

Crystal Palace is my fave (They have the best breakfast pizza on property..it just tastes better with Tigger)

I also love Whispering Canyon (breakfast skillet) and Kona (Pineapple macadamia pancakes)

We love Tusker House Breakfast at AK. We go every year. It is a character breakfast with Donald outside, Goofy, Minnie and Daisy inside. It is a buffet and has an excellent selection. (I believe it is the only character meal to have Daisy) I recommend making reservations before the park opens.(around 8) It is really nice to walk through the park when it is quieter. Then when the park opens and you are done with breakfast, go out and turn to your left to hit Killaminjaro Safari first thing.
Crystal Palace is also great to go to before the park opens. Nice to walk down the quiet Main Street.
Love WCC breakfast skillet. It is a must everytime we go.
