That is what our group of 30 has planned but I just don't see this working out for us. Esp with me being 7 months PG and my DS being 2 1/2.

Do you think it is possible to eat breakfast and dinner at a restaurant everyday? I was thinking more grab and go for breakfast then sit down. Plus it will take up so much of the day and we only have 3 days there.

DH thinks I am nuts and we should go with the crowd but I am exhausted just thinking about it:sad1:

Certainly it's possible. For a lot of people at Disney, all 3 meals are eaten at a restaurant every day of the trip. Now, whether or not it's a good idea with 30 people in your group? I'd say no - it will take forever to get that many people through a meal. And it also sounds like a whole lot of "togetherness", and, well, too much of a good thing ;) .

I would do a few, its nice for the character meals for breakfast. I dont know if I could do it everyday. But if you did I guess that would elminate the need for lunch?

Depends are we talking 8am or 10am breakfast. I wouldnt want to cut down on my park time everyday.

I would recommend the sit-down breakfast and limiting the dinners. We found with my 20month old that by the time dinner came around he was much too tired/restless to really be good and eat. Maybe it was just him but eating in the morning in public was better than being out late in a crowd after a long day.

We cancelled some of our ADRs for dinner and just did quickservice.

We couldn't do it.

For us a quick breakfast in the room is best esp when the kids were toddlers/preschoolers. This way they could have cheerios and fruit while dh and I got ready for the day.

Our 'sit down" meal is usually a late lunch, it's quicker and we are usually ready for a cool down and a break, then is almost always counter service. Of course there were exceptions for character breakfasts and occasionaly a character dinner (usualy chef Mickey's).

Are you expected to dine with the entire party every single meal? Honestly that would not work for me :)

We have done two trips with extended family and while we met for several meals and parades we really didn't spend 24/7 together. The age differences and interest of the families were so different that it worked better this way.

we do it every year. actually we go off property for breakfast, but its a sit down breakfast and probably with travel takes the same amount of time.

personally i would be more worried about trying to eat with 30 people. that will be next to impossible.

I wouldn't do it even if it was just me alone! That is several hours a day spent sitting instead of touring! We do one sit down a day max, and we have been to WDW many times and never do everything there is to do on one trip.
Plus, with 30 people it is going to take even more time. I can't even imagine coordinating all that. We have been with other families (relatives) and we split up most of the time. Different ages want to do different things. I say one sit down per day at most!!! My teens would have a cow if we tried to spend too much time sitting!!!

I would imagine one meal a day would be enough. Maybe not all 30 people have to be there for each one.

We're having a GG of 11 people in April. We'll probably do 1 sit-down dinner per day max.
