Breakfast dilemma....

We are torn! Which breakfast is better, The Wave buffet or Tusker House? No kids, just adults.

I feel it's just adults I'd do the wave. While the offerings are much smaller, i find it more refined overall and hello bottomless mimosas!

My last day there at WDW. Annual passes. Have to be back at SS by 4PM to catch bus back to airport.

Wolfgang Puck Express. Breakfast Pizza and Corn Flakes dipped French Toast are great and it is close to SS.

We really enjoyed the Bon Voyage breakfast at Boardwalk. The food was excellent!
If I had to choose from one of the other choices you picked I would pick Tusker House. We actually eat there every year!

I voted for Tusker House. The wave does get good reviews for food but I personally think the atmosphere is lacking. I think it should be called "the cave." It's perfectly fine but not very Disney to me and my Disney dining choices are things that are Disney to me. Plus I love the (non traditional breakfast) food at tusker house. Last time I was there I wanted to take home that whole pan of curry chicken.

I think location is the most important consideration here.

A breakfast in a park takes a day's admission unless you have an AP. Are you planning to make an early ADR and do some park rides after breakfast? MK or AK?

I'm sure the food at either place is fine. Choose whichever pick-up is easier for you to get to and wait at for Magical Express.

Since you have APs, will be using ME from your resort so transportation time comes into play ...
... I would go with Tusker House. The breakfast buffet is a nice selection,
you have the ease of the bus back & forth and no extra transport or walking,
and it would be a nice Disney way to end your trip.

I'd say Tusker House just because The Wave doesn't really feel very special or Disney to me. We had breakfast there our last day once, actually, and I remember being vaguely disappointed that it just looked and felt like a standard hotel restaurant with a unique ceiling.

They both are great restaurants. I actually am doing breakfast at The Wave on the last day of my next trip. After trying it both ways, I've decided I usually prefer not to go to a park on my departure day. So Tusker House fits better some other day during the trip.

At least with the Wave you don't have to bother with security, queuing to get into a park etc. You can just take the bus to MK, stroll over to the Contemporary and enjoy a more grown up breakfast. We're going for the buffet in December.

Our last day situation for our Nov/Dec trip is similar. We were trying to choose between The Wave and Trail's End for breakfast. We decided on The Wave and then checking out the monorail Christmas decorations before we head back for our pickup.

I would usually say to go to the place that is closest to your hotel because I like a stress free departure day but since you have a lot of time, I would do Tusker House over The Wave. I just feel depressed inside that restaurant. It's bleak. I also like WPE in Disney Springs.
