What kind of breakfast foods are available at the Pepper Market food court - and are they good?

You can check out the menu at www.allearsnet.com but we had breakfast there last Sept. on the DDP (I figure it would be a good value). They have the standard breakfast foods, eggs, bacon, waffles, omelettes, cereal, etc. We didn't really like the set up there and we had a problem with my DD6 breakfast-she only had a box of cereal (dry) and a banana. They cashier was going to charge us 1 CS credit and I snack credit. Needless to say, I wasn't happy about it and said I would pay for the banana OOP. (She didn't even have milk) The cashier took care of it but we (my mom and myself) thought it just wasn't a very good way to get your food. By the time you pick out what you want (and walk around with the kids for their choices) your food isn't hot anymore.

Hope this helps.

It's not Pepper Market, but I had the breakfast buffet at Maya Grill when I stayed at CSR in January. It was really good! And it's not much (if any!) more expensive than PM. I had the DDE card & saved 20%. I think it was about $12 after discount & taxes. Tip additional. It wasn't crowded at all (PM was), and was a peaceful, relaxing start to a very busy day.

Thanks for the review on Maya Grill. I have a breakfast scheduled for there in October. The Pepper Market was different and I look forward to experiencing it again. I had a breakfast burrito there and it was really good, but huge! I think it caters more to the conference attendees than the regular guests, but it is something different and that's what I liked about it. Definately not a bargain.

Thanks for the info on the PM and Maya Grill. We'll be staying at CSR in November, and your reviews help me in my planning! :thumbsup2

Actually, we really liked the breakfast at Pepper Market. There were tons of choices, and the portions are HUGE. It is a good deal if you are on the dining plan, b/c it counts as a counter service, but you get a ton of food. We would definitely go there again! :thumbsup2

The menu on allearsnet alludes to the open air market idea and that you go around and pick your items? Could someone else explain this in any more detail? Is it set up like the counter service areas where you have different locations and you just get your items and pay? Or is it different than that?
