That's a tough call because we love them both so much. Those are our top 2 character meals and must do's for us each trip.

I chose Cape May because I prefer the characters, the layout and the character interaction. I have never felt rushed or crammed in any place or felt like I had to wait a long time for a character to make it to our table.

1900 Park Fare just feels a bit more cramped and chaotic to me. I feel like I have to wait longer for the characters to come around and because the tables are so close together it seems like the characters are being pulled in different directions and bombarded with kids all at once.

That being said you really can't go wrong at either place.

An update to my earlier reply---just back from a week at WDW. Had breakfast at 1900 & Cape May (again.) Still enjoyed Cape May. The boat ride from HS to BC is great. Food was plentiful & good. We were in a room off the main dining area so it was nice & quiet. Character interaction was good, especially Goofy. Minnie & Donald were pretty quick. Had been to 1900for dinner so kind of knew what to expect. Kids loved the monorail over to GF from MK. Again, there was plenty of food & good quality. Our ADR's were for the first serve & it was quite crowded & loud. Tables are very close together. All characters came around but were in & out very quickly. Also, no Mad Hatter!!! That's who I really wanted to see! Replaced with Belle. We had met her at another character meal so not quite as exciting. Would do either one again if only for the food. Guess it depends on who you really want to meet as the food is similiar at both buffets.

Gibbygirl: we are doing dinner at 1900 PF - can you tell me which characters will be there for dinner???? Thanks :-))

I think the Cape May Cafe has better food and more of a selection. I also think it depends on what characters you want to see. CMC has Pluto, Minnie and Goofy, while 1900 has Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Mad Hatter, Alice and Mary Poppins. I also like the decor of the Beach Club and CMC better.

I say Cape May Cafe -- plus, when breakfast is over you can take a nice leisurely walk into World Showcase :thumbsup2
