Can anyone tell me what I can expect to pay for a breakfast buffet at say, Shoneys? Seperate price for adult and child please. Just sitting here trying to work out my budget,
Thanks a lot,
Claire
Obi Wan Kenobi, I already checked that site and couldn't find a price, thats why I posted here, But thanks for trying.
Vizeman, that seems really cheap, I was budgeting a few dollars higher per person so this is good news. Anybody else got ideas?
I'm a big fan of Pondersosa, both for breakfast and evening meals.
Their breakfast buffet is $3.99 for adults, less for kids but I can't recall the exact price - again, drinks are not included
If you have kids, they may well love Golden Corral as mentioned previously - they have things like pizza, jelly, ice cream and cakes for breakfast. The boys virtually demanded we have brekkie at the Corral !!
Forgot to mention, the other good thing about Golden Corral is they do individually prepared omelettes for you if desired, with a good choice of ingredients available.
Hi there, we also used Ponderosa's but Golden Corral got the vote after we tried there, especially as my hubby likes his fried eggs with his brekky! Kids voted it the best too!
We ate at Golden Corral and Ponderosa for breakfast this July & I've just looked at my receipts.
Golden Corral breakfasts are $6.49 per adult and $4.99 per child PLUS tax! We found many vouchers that took either 10% or 50C off adults breakfasts. This INCLUDED as much coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks as you wanted.
Ponderosa was cheaper (can't remember how much though) BUT did NOT include any drinks. In the end both places worked out the same price with vouchers used at both.
We much preferred Golden Corral and only went to Ponderosa the once.
GC dinner buffets were $10.99 adults and $ 4.99 childs Plus tax. This does not include any drinks although all the soft drinks are re-fillable.
Our total at GC meals inc tax were (3 adults + 1 child) breakfast $26.70 (inc 1 nesquick drink) and Dinner $43.65 (inc 3 soft drinks and 1 Nesquick).
Hope this is helpful to working out your budget. Don't forget to add on 'tips' - 15%/20% each meal. These buffets are the cheapest around I think so, if you eat elsewhere it will be more expensive but not as much as in UK!
Thanks guys, this is just what I was looking for. I don't know if giving my kids a sugar hit so early in the day is a good idea, but we'll see. Thanks again for your help,
Claire
