Breakfast Buffet?

We will be going to Disney in September and we would like to have at least one breakfast buffet. We've never been there before so we don't have any good ideas as to time and distance between places. What would be some of the better breakfast buffets to try and go to if we're staying at Port Orleans Riverside? We don't want to spend a ton of time on getting to the restaurant in the morning. I kind of like the sounds of Whispering Canyon, but it seems way out of the way? Any advice anyone has would be appreciated! Also, would you make an ADR for breakfast times or are those usually open? Thanks!!!

the Dinosaurarus........breakfast at AK........it is a good one and we all enjoyed it. the characters there are Mickey, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto......we go into the park and then walk over to the restaurant and eat and then out to the safari each time.......hope wherever you go .....you enjoy yourself.. WE Love to go to Port Orleans too.........

The one at Fort Wilderness (Trail's End) is pretty good, and decently priced.

I agree, the Trail End is good. Great price, and the kids loved taking the boat over!

we go to wcc or trail's end either before we go to Mk or after emh morning .it's bout a 10 min boat ride for them from MK or go to the contem and get a boat there....sometimes pre Mk opening the MK buses will take you to the cont if they aren't busy due to chef mickey's

So you can take the boat from POR to Ft. Wilderness? We'll hopefully be at WL in October if we get an AP discounts EVER
If no discounts, then we will be at POR. What's the best way without a vehicle to get to Trails End in the morning?

What we did is go to MK, and took the boat to The Trail End buffet from there. Short boat ride, the kids thought it was cool.

Boma has a very nice breakfast buffet.

i looooved boma! we are not buffet fans but this one had variety and quality! a tad difficult to get to though. while staying at pofq, we took the bus to ak and then another to akl. it took us a good 20 minutes.

I vote for Fresh at the Dolphin. My DH could have stayed there all day. Everything was wonderful.

I vote for either Chef Mickey's or Donalds Breakfastasaurus.
we love the food at both. Chef Mickey's is a little noisier and mor rowdy. We have had great character interaction at both.

When we stayed at POFQ, we ate Chef Mickey's (10:30) on the day we did MK. We got Space Mountain, Buzz and Haunted Mansion out of the way first, if that's any consolation.
