We just had the breakfast buffet at Boma on Tuesday! It was fantastic!! We've had dinner there before and it was wonderful - and the breakfast was just as good!

They have a made-to-order omelette station, scrambled eggs, couple of different kinds of sausage, bacon, pancakes, french toast, LOTS of fruit, desserts, roast pork, carved ham, and so much more that I can't think of! LOL!

Coffee and "jungle juice" is included. The jungle juice is a mixture of different juices - and very good!! :flower:

YES! Boma is awesome for dinner and breakfast! I think the juice you are taling about is called "frunch." I would not drink it, though cuz I did not want to fill up on it! I really liked the breakfast bobotie...like a hash with an egg topping. the great thing about Boma is there are regular items, plus a few adventurous alternatives.

Glad you liked it, I am dreaming of when I can go back there!

SO glad to hear this! We are going in Nov (can't wait but I don't want to rush the summer)!

This breakfast buffet sounds wonderful - we usually eat at the resort and thought we would do this twice during our 4 nights.

taking DH for fathers day. originally booked crystal palace but think he will like this ever so much more.

think something little more quieter than character breakfast will do him must fine.

glad reviews are great

thank you for posting such a great review of Breakfast @ Boma! We decided on Breakfast there too (can`t wait). Hope we enjoy it as much as you did!! :goodvibes :flower:

I like the name "Frunch" better than "Jungle Juice!" LOL! Our server called it Jungle Juice - maybe the servers just call it whatever they want! Has anyone else heard it called something else? :sunny:

Ya know, to tell ya the truth, I kinda like "Jungle Juice" better! I know "Frunch" is just "fruit" and "punch" put together (at least I assume that is the logic behind that name) but to me it sounds like a French brunch or something. I think that is interesting that your server called it JJ! hmmmm, maybe they are changing the name?

When we were there in 2003 they called it Frunch.

Can anybody tell me if they have waffles on the Boma breakfast? I can't remember.

\Thanks

WE were at AKL over Christmas. Boma's was great. Actually the whole resort was great but I do not know why I am telling people this because it will reduce my chances of getting a room and a discount . Go---enjoy.

Hi bandman,

They have waffels and pancakes on the Boma buffet, we just returned on 4/30.

We had breakfast at Boma a few weeks ago and it was fantastic- loved the frunch (that's what our server called it).

We were never planning to eat there but the night before at 8pm we decided to take a quick nap and then go get dinner at the Mara and head out to Pleasure Island. Well when we laid down for a nap at 8pm, we didn't wake up til 8 am the next morning! :rotfl: We were so tired and since we didn't get any dinner we were starved! So at 8am we made a PS for Boma at 8:30am :teeth: I think that's the most last minute ps we've ever made. The person on the phone said what time would you like your PS and I said NOW! -Stephanie

So glad to hear good reviews of the Boma breakfast! We are trying it for the first time in 3 weeks! Can't wait!

I just made a breakfast PS for June 8th and I'm so glad to read all these postive reviews!!! We have never eaten there and we wanted to try something different for breakfast on this trip. Sounds like we made a good decision!!! :goodvibes

Let me just say that I have read sooo many good things about Boma..that I am MORE excited to go to Boma than the parks! I always like new things and can't wait to go there! :Pinkbounc me bouncing off the walls for the next 30 something days!

We ate there at the end of the week and enjoyed it very much, too. We had a wonderful table right in front of the windows. Even my picky little ones (4 and 2.5 yo) enjoyed the "jungle juice." I especially enjoyed the almond pastries with the almond paste filling. The omelets looked heavenly, but the line was long. Neither dh nor I wanted to leave each other alone for too long with the little ones that morning. In fact, I ended up taking the kids to the playground while dh finished his breakfast with a little peace and quiet.
