Breakfast between Sheraton Vistana and AK?

We're staying at the Sheraton Vistana in November. The plan was to eat breakfast in the condo and get to the park before rope drop each morning.

However, the airline keeps changing our itinerary so right now we won't get in to the airport until almost 9:00 on Saturday night. I'm thinking that by the time we get our luggage, rent the car, drive to the Sheraton and check in, we'll be too worn out to go grocery shopping. We want to be at the AK first thing Sunday morning.

Any suggestions on a good breakfast place that can get us in and out quickly so we can get to AK by 8:30 or so? Preferably someplace we'd pass on the way. (We have four kids ranging from 3-13, so we definitely need something kid-friendly.)

I can't think of any place that's on the most direct route from Vistana Resort to Animal Kingdom. And the restaurants at the resort don't open until 8 am, so that wouldn't work for you if you want to get to AK by 8:30. There is a convenience store at Vistana that might work for you if you want to eat in your villa, but I don't know it's hours. You might want to consider putting some basic dry breakfast foods in your luggage and doing a quick stop at the Publix near Vistana for milk, juice, etc., rather than a full grocery shop, on your way to the resort on the night that you get there.

There's a Cracker Barrel on 192. You could eat there and then take Sherbeth Rd to AK. I don't recall how far out it is, but it couldn't be too far out of the way.

I'd probably just pack some Pop Tarts for the kids in my suitcase. You could always throw a couple of muffins in your carryon. Use a container or they get mushed (the voice of experience here).

I've thought about packing breakfast food, but I have to fill up a 13-year-old boy. I'm not sure the suitcase is that big.

I thinking now of paying to have the condo stocked with a days' worth of groceries, just so I don't have to stress about it.

Why not just stop into McDonald's and get breakfast sandwiches. You could either get them to eat in the car or you could get DH to go pick them up while you get the kiddos ready.

Mickey D's would be my choice also. There one right on the way to Animal Kingdom. I think it's on the exit to the All Star Resorts and it is very easy to get back on the road to AK.

There is a convenience store at Vistana that might work for you if you want to eat in your villa, but I don't know it's hours.

The Vistana Store/Marketplace doesn't open until 8 am. Not too helpful for people wanting to get to the parks early.

go out sheraton and either go straight across the street - or turn left (sheraton has a couple of exits)

you are going to the Golden Coral - it almost directly across the street from Sheraton Vistana -

I think it opens at 7am? not sure.

If I recall right outside the maingate at AK there is a booth that sells breakfast pasteries and juice coffee and teas.

There's a Walgren's right next to the Vistana Resort that is open 24 hours. If you're not up to a trip to Publix, I would stop at Walgren's and pickup breakfast stuff before you go to bed, and then eat a quick breakfast in your unit before heading out to AK.
