Which restaurant at the S&D has the best food for breakfast?

Any reccomendations on what to order?

When we stay there we just walked over to Cape May, they have the best breakfast!

Thanks, but I think the only reason we don't do Cape May for breakfast is because my DH doesn't like character meals.

Absolutely hands down the best place for breakfast is Fresh at the Dolphin. Hot bacon, sausage and potatoes, freshly made egg station (get an omelet with cheese and spinach - yum!) wonderful pastries and fresh fruit.

It's never packed and frenetic, always relaxed and casual. Oh, and some of the best coffee at the World. It's a must for my family every trip, even if we have to travel from across WDW.

For a quick counter service option, we really enjoy Picabus in the Dolphin. I always get the bacon egg and cheese on ciabatta bread and it is delcious. Also comes with yummy potatoes. On my most recent visit, my Mother got the omlette meal and that was also delicious and huge too.

We just did the Garden Grove buffet on a sunday. (At the Swan) Yes its characters but only 2 Goofy and Pluto and we have teens and we really kind of ignored the characters, Just said hello, they really werent around all that much.But the food was great, had made to order omlettes, so much fresh fruit options, I think I overdosed on the raspberries, blueberries, kiwi etc. The cinnamon pecan pastries were great too. My dh said we are definetely doing it again.

Fresh (at the Dolphin) would be my suggestion as well.

Fresh is our second favorite breakfast buffet in WDW (behind Boma). As noted above, some of the best coffee, (Starbucks), fresh squeezed OJ, an assortment of fresh squeezed juices. Omelets, pancakes, waffles, etc. are all made fresh to order as the name implies. (A fresh assortment of jellies is also available from the waiter and includes unusual selections such as pumpkin.) Hands down best breakfast at Swan and Dolphin and has to be included in every debate for best breakfast at WDW!

Fresh is the best in my opinion. Just be aware tho that because almost everything IS made fresh, there can be a bit of a wait for your eggs, pancakes, etc.

No, the characters are there for weeknight dinners also...atleast according the swandolphin.com site. We are planning on eating there one night, so I looked into it, that's how I happen to have the info.
