I'm curious if any of us have had the breakfast buffet at Ravello. What did you think? It's rather pricey, but I suspect that you're going to get genuine quality at the Four Seasons.
And I'm always looking for something new.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Our Recommendations:
. . . appys:... Breads
. . . entree:.. Omelet Station
. . . dessert:. ANY of the desserts
.
NOTE1: Ravello at the Four Seasons (on property) is a Thu & Sat character meal
with Goofy, Mickey and Minnie. The cost is approx the same as Chef Mickey's
($40.47/adult, excl tip), but the food is FAR better.
Character interaction is
super, as the pace is significantly slower than other character meals. They do not
participate in DDP at this time.
.
NOTE2: We have eaten at many Four Seasons in our travels, and though the buffet
food is VERY good, it doesn't hold the 4-5 Star quality levels one typically sees at
Four Seasons. Additionally, the poor acoustics make eatery very loud. I think they
took this from WDW method to make people get out quicker and improve the "tables
turns".
.
NOTE3: Opposed to Disney, the eatery DOES have COMPLIMENTARY photos with
the characters.

I can vouch for it being loud.....I believe the main dining area is on the first floor, but you can hear the rambunctious-ness from the lobby area on the second (though it is open from the first to second floor in part of the restaurant).....

but ALL of the food at the FSRO is awesome!

thanks for the feedback to far.
I'll have a car, so getting there is easy, but how does the Four Seasons handle parking for non-guests of the resort? ( I trust that getting through the front gate of the resort is not an issue if we have a reservation.)

There is a small parking fee for guests dining on property. Initially it was $4 or $5 but it may have increased since then.

Thanks - it's a small amount, but it's added to an already pricey breakfast for just two of us. I'm beginning to lean toward something simpler but still good quality, like The Wave for breakfast on our last day.
If someone wants to convince me that the Ravello breakfast is just that good to be worth the price, feel free!
