Hi
We're thinking of going to OKW next August - I've checked out the restaurant details, and there doesn't appear to be a quick service breakfast at the resort.

Am I missing something ? Or would we have to breakfast in the Parks if we stayed at OKW?

Thanks

Hi -

We stay at OKW at least once a year (return 04/09/11) and there is no quick service breakfast. We eat at Olivia's usually on the morning we check out before we travel home. You may be able to order a carry-out though not for sure on that. Depending on the type of room you have, I recommend bringing bagels, muffins, cereal etc. The "gift shop" has incremental items for breaks including beverages but as you know you will pay a little more. No matter where we stay though we usually try to bring what we can and if someone has a car we go to the grocery store upon arrival. Saves money in the long run to not eat breakfast in the park.

It's entirely possible that things have changed since I last stayed at OKW almost 6 years ago. But at that time, there was a walk up window where we purchased breakfast every morning - eggs, waffles, pancakes, coffee, juice, etc. There were a few benches and tables nearby where we ate sometimes, others we brought the food back to the room.

ETA - I just saw the previous post, so it appears that this window isn't there anymore.

Over by the main pool is Good's Food to GO. They serve breakfasts, burgers, and snacks.

We were at OKW in November and there is a 'fast food' place by the pool area, etc. Looked at the menu and looked good. They have some tables across from it outside. Wished we would of noticed it at the beginning of our trip and not the end!

We stayed at OKW in October.

We usually had breakfast in the room - stayed in a studio with a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. We bought some supplies for the room and also used to eat left over desserts or snacks eg pick up some pastries at epcot and eat for breakfast the next day.

Goods to go has a very limited menu for breakfast I think - we didn't try it.

If you have a car you are only a short drive to DTD. Breakfast at WPE and earl of sandwich were good for QS.
