Breakfast At O'hana's

Well when we went it was great. We've been twice now and loved it both times. They're talking of changes to come like adding Lilo and Stitch. Don't know if they'll keep Mickey and the gang or not. Either way, I'm sure you'll have a great time. We're going to try 1900 Park Fare for breakfast this time - hope I don't regret it.

Fiancee and I loved it, we ate so much, and the characters in the hawaiian theme was cool too. I personally adored the potatoes and the pineapple bread. :)

As of Sunday (October 2) Mickey and Pluto, Lilo and Stitch will be featured (characters and their best friends). Chip, Dale, and Goofy will no longer be there.

Aloha

Steve

How long did it take to eat there (since it is Family style?) and to see all the characters?

Thanks!

1. I read somewhere on DIS that bacon and mickley waffles are offered at breakfast but it was not listed on the allears menu. Can someone confirm?

2. Are there any tables that you can sit at and see the castle at MK? Sorry if this may seem like a silly question but I have never been to this restaurant. If so, what percentage of tables give a good view of the castle??

Thank you
Suzy V.

The menu when we were there in April was pineapple bread (WICKED AWESOME), pan fries, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, Mickey Waffles, fresh fruit, and biscuits. All the orange juice and coffee you could drink too. It took about an hour for all the characters to rotate through. We were able to see the castle from where we were sitting (we didnt have window seats or anything), and I think you can see it from a lot of the tables. We really enjoyed the breakfast a lot.

Thank you so much for the info. I can't wait until Sunday morning to book this for the first week of Jan.
Quick question:
I understand we can get extra juice, but if we want more bacon or bread for example, would it be ok to ask for more?
Sorry, I have never ate family style before and not sure on etiquette.

I'm not sure whether you can ask for more bread; my guess is you can. We didn't. The food is served in big skillets placed on the table, and it's all you can eat. They will bring you more food. There was more than enough for us though, and we have very hearty appetites. But they asked us multiple times if there was anything additional that we needed.

lverga: Ohana is at the Polynesian resort

Hmm...now I'm torn. I was planning on Chef Mickey's, but now Ohana sounds tempting. My DD loves both Mickey and Stitch. (I know, you'd think a 16 month old girl would be all about Lilo, but no...she likes Stitch!).

I'd do both, but I really don't even like breakfast, and I'd hate to drop that money and not really enjoy it. Does anyone know if there is going to be a Lilo and Stitch lunch or dinner?

My family would eat at O’hana every day were there if I would let them. Yes, family style is very easy, ask for whatever you run out of or run low on and it will be brought to your table. There are games and activities they do with the kids while you are there so take your camera. The last two game I rember the kids swept a coconut around the restaurant and there was a parade with musical instruments the kids go to play. It will be on our list each time we go. Check out the thread on restaurants and you will find pictures of what the food looks like when it comes out to the table.
