OK, I've looked through every guidebook I have, I cannot find anywhere to have breakfast at MGM. I know there's been a lot of "buzz" (pardon the reference) about getting a character meal there for boys... how about just a place that serves breakfast?

I am missing something....?????

Why is this?

ABC Commissary serves a full breakfast and Starring Rolls has pastries, cereal,etc... :)

THANK YOU. The guidebook (The Unofficial Duide to WDW) spends the whole paragraph talking about the sandwiches, wraps and cheeseburgers. I should have looked further down in the comments, "Also offers a great traditional breakfast." Oops, my bad. Thanks though.

Warning, however--the ABC Commissary is not very good, which is putting it nicely.

Starring Rolls has good bagels, danish, and cold breakfast items.

We are doing Starring Rolls too.

From the MGM entrrance - walk down Hollywood Blvd towards the big Sorcerer's Hat - then hang right onto Sunset Blvd.
Walk a few steps and on your left will be the Starring Rolls bakery. :thumbsup2

One of my fondest memories involves my DH and I rushing to MGM for EE, riding RNRRC several times and then having a nice, leisurely breakfast from Starring Rolls. I think we had chocolate croissants.

Maybe they will let us get this & juice or coffee?

Don't think that Starring rolls was on DP at Christmas, we usually eat there. Love the Chocolate croissants, and the fruit things (some kind of pastry affair without a clear name) We have traditionally eaten there every trip!

What a shame MGM dont get a character breakfast in this park! Especailly for boys or older kids, its very much around "princesses" which od course my DD4 LOVES, but for friends with boys aged 6 and 8 there isnt much to choose from. Cant understand why MGM dont do this ?????????????

You can get it as a CS for breakfast. But if you get it for lunch you can also have a tasty pastry for dessert. Better have it for both meals.

Hollywood & Vine used to have a character breakfast, but not sure if they still do. :thumbsup2
The Hollywood and Vine character breakfast was discontinued several years ago. Currently there are no character meals in the Studios but rumors of a Toy Story meal have been bouncing around for months.
