hey gals!!

I haven't disappeared---;)

the spit shining is done and I had a meeting with the real estate agent Tues. morning. He walked through and said that he didn't have anything for me to do.:cool1: The house looks great and I am getting really sentimental.:guilty::sad2: I have another meeting with him tomorrow morning and also a phone meeting with the mortgage lender for the new place---all before work.:headache: Needless to say-----:scared1:----that's how I feel.:lmao:

I have to start getting ready for work---I can't believe how late it is already!! I feel guilty because I actually slept in a bit this morning.:scared:

HAPPY 16th NICK!!!!!

Michele---LOVE the pics of Bree and Lilly!!! They are both dolls!! Hope Matt is feeling better.

Oh my goodness--just looked at the time--

HI Lesa, Linda, Maureen and Angela (have fun!!!!)-----I will check in tomorrow night after work or this weekend.

Good morning, everyoine!!

Yikes!! I slept a little later this morning; I just couldn't get up.:cloud9:

Hey, 2x2s, That's great news about your house getting on the market. Just think of that beautiful new villa and all the modern conveniences, like high-speed internet and cable tv!!:woohoo::woohoo:
Springfield is about 300 miles from our house. I think it will take about 5 hours driving straight through. I hope the kids get a good nap along the way. they play at 1:15pm and again at 7:15pm.

I've reserved a table for us by the ocean. You can order whatever you want. I'll bet the waiter is cute. too.;)

I hope you all have a Rockin' Friday!!:rockband::rockband:

Just a quick note....

Bree and Zach have had Lilly at the hospital all afternoon. This morning her fever was 103, it came down to 99 with Tylenol. She was very lethargic. When I came home at lunch she was laying on the couch, so sad looking. She won't talk, her glands are swollen, she won't swallow her saliva. Their ped was closed today. They tried the Urgent Care Center that Matt went to but they won't take their form of Medicaid. So they have been at the ER.

They did a throat culture which Bree says Lilly didn't even fight. Then had to wait an hour and a half to two hours for the results. Which were negative. They tried giving her liquid steroids to help her throat but she threw that up. So as soon as she fell asleep they came in a gave her a shot:sad2: Now they are waiting for x-rays. Of what I am not certain.

We are pretty sure that she has gotten mono. But the doc said that kids her age don't show the same antibodies that older kids do so they can't do a blood test to check. So they are pretty much doing a process of elimination.

If you guys could just send her some pixie dust....she and Bree could use some. Zach's mom is with them so I know someone will ask the right questions.

oh my goodness, Michele---

prayers coming your way for Lilly!!! poor baby!!!:hug::hug:

my house is officially on the market---the sign went up this morning ( I couldn't watch:rolleyes1), so I had to pack up my laptop. I am checking in from work right now (shh, don't tell anyone). If I am over at my parent's, I will try to check in, but other than that, I'm afraid my dis-ing will be limited for a while.
(anyone can always call me on my cell phone, though :cutie:)

Well we are home from the hospital. Heck that only took 9.5 hours!!!

She has croup. The short version is they gave her a steroid shot, took xrays of her throat (where they saw a narrowing of her trachea), gave her a breathing treatment, they were going to do a CT scan but she ate some Cheetos and drank some juice so they decided not to expose her to that much radiation. The ER doctor called her Ped to make sure he sees her tomorrow as a follow up. Lilly is at her Daddy's house and hopefully getting a good nights sleep.

Thanks for the pixie dust.

Good morn...er...middle of the night, everyone.

Michele:: I was worried to hear about Lilly, but hopefully she is on the mend now. Give her a special hug from me when you see her.
It's such a shame the ER is so slow.....and it seems to be every hospital.:sad1:

2x2s:: I know putting your house on the market has to be an emotional experience for you. the night I had to officially clean out our old house to turn it over to the new owners, I cried the whole time.:guilty::scared:
I promise I'll call ya'. Keep in touch when you can.

Well, as you probably noticed, I'm sitting here pretty early in the morning. Had to have a small breakfast and some coffee to get myself going this morning. We are supposed to be meeting up at the Rec Center and caravaning 300 miles to the west side of Missouri. this ought to be interesting.:rolleyes1
Gary said he is taking his laptop, so may get a chance to check in tomorrow morning or this evening.

Maybe I'll get a chance to eat at a Cracker Barrel while we are on the road this weekend. ;)

I hope you all have a Stupendous Saturday!!:grouphug::grouphug:

We just got back from the pediatrician. She is doing so well, he can't believe she was that sick yesterday. Her lungs sound clear, she looks just fine. Of course after yesterday she did not want him coming near her. :) As we were leaving she remembered that she was supposed to get a sucker so we had to go back and ask for one. She is napping now.

Thanks for everyone's well wishes. They sure helped.

omg...Poor Lilly!! I hope she is doing better. Poor girl:guilty: lots of prayers and pixy dust she's better very soon!!

Angela, girl I've been thinking about you a lot and hope your trip is wonderful!!!

Michele...so glad to hear Lilly made such a fast recovery...how scary for everyone.

Happy Monday, everyone!!

Wow!! What a weekend!! We got home last night right before 10pm. Gary opted to work from home this morning when his alarm went off. I really don't have that option, so here I am.:surfweb: I hope Nathan is rested when he gets up this morning.:cloud9:

Our 4th grade boys came home with 2nd place. They went into overtime and lost by about 6 points against a pretty tough 5th grade team. Our parents gave them a standing ovation and yelled "WE"RE SO PROUD OF OUR 4TH GRADERS!!:cheer2::cheer2:
Most of the parents and players along with the coach and his family went to Lamberts....Home of the Throwed rolls. The boys thought this was a hoot and wanted to try to catch them with their mouths. Thank goodness they didn't actually try it.:scared::rotfl2:pirate:

YourMajesty:: I have to apologize, when I saw what the playing schedule was like, I knew we would be spending most of our time at the ball court. We did manage to go to Bass Pro Shop with another family yesterday morning....it reminded me of a Wilderness Lodgy Store!!

2x2s:: I know you may not be reading this, but I hope you had a lovely birthday.princess:

Michele:: I'm so relieved to hear that Lilly is doing so much better.

Linda:: Sounds like you have been one busy lady!! Yep, I think you need a littlle WDW break soon!!:woohoo::woohoo:

Angela:: How is the trip going? I know you are having a blast!!

Had better get breakfast on the table!!

I hope you all have a Magical Monday!! :wizard::wizard:

hey kids!!

thank you all for the beautiful cakes!!! You've ondone yourselves!!!:love:

I had an okay weekend--again, making sure the house was **** and span as I left each day.:headache:
I hung out with my mom yesterday--just shopped a little and went to a late lunch/early dinner at a place called Bravo. It is owned by the Brio chain. It was just okay. I think I ordered the wrong thing, or I just didn't know what I was in the mood for.:confused3
I really wanted to drive to Ste. Gevevieve--to one of my favorite little shops, but being about an hour and 1/2 away, time didn't allow. I'll have to save it for another weekend.

Michele--so glad to hear that Lilly is feeling a bit better. This whole "new" flu thing going around is scaring everyone, so it's hard to hear when one of our little ones is ill.

Donna---Congrats to Nathan and his team!!!! That's wonderful that they could hold their own to a fifth grade team.
That is so funny that you went to Lamberts!! I went there several years ago, but want to go back so badly. I remember it was sooo crowded, but good food. I'm sure the boys loved it!!!

Hi to everyone!!!

I'm at work again, so everytime I hear footsteps I have to quickly minimize the screen, so I'd best log off.

Photos are being taken of the house today, so I'm a bit nervous.

have a great day and I'll try to check in sometime through the week.

Thanks for breastfast Donna! Woohoo to Nathan for 2nd place!:cheer2: That was long way to go for basketball!

Hey 2x2s...Any offers on the house? I saw they had to clean up your language.:lmao: Next call from me will be to your cell phone!:thumbsup2

Not much to report around here...hope everyone is off to a good week.:)
