Breakfast at hotel and fantasyland

Hi, we are off to DLP for our first time in March and have booked into the santa fe for 3 nights and then another hotel near the airport for one night I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me what you get for breakfast? we've got an 8 year old who wont eat croissants and things like that
I heard somewhere that you can get an american breakfast if you pay extra? does anyone know if this is right and how much it costs?
I expect i will be asking 100's of questions on this board before march lol

Main offerings are croissants, yoghurt, bread rolls, cheese, ham, orange juice, milk, tea or coffee. There is an option to add bacon, scrambled egg but can't remember the extra charge.

Just to add to Reid's list I noticed quite a large selection of cereals last time and fruit salad.
By the All American breakfast I'm assuming you mean the Character Breakfast and it's a really nice start to the day, along with the usual breakfast, you're offered bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, herby potatoes, toast (although I'm pretty certain you get toast at the hotels too) and then things like doughnuts, muffins, pastries. I'm hungry now thinking about that lot

so its fabby for the atkins dieters then really good excuse to dump the diet for the trip (i miss fruit!) was wondering about brekkie tho with a dis hotel you get allocated a dining time is that completely fixed? in march in guessing there will be a degree of flexability?

We've always managed to walk in and breakfast has been quiet. We had cereals, various rolls and meats, cheese, salad, fruit (which was tinned urgh). You could pay extra for pancakes and bacon.

The breakfast in the hotels is "continental" - rolls, croissants, ham, cheese etc - but also includes a selection of cereals (including chocolaty kids ones and rice krispies), toast with a selection of jams, marmalade and chocolate spread, yoghurts and fruit salad.

You can get juice, hot drinks and milk.

The "Goodmorning Fantasyland" breakfast (taken instead of breakfast in the hotel) offers exactly the same as the hotels.

You can get an "American Breakfast" which I think includes scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. I think this may be around 7 euros but I have never seen anyone order this.

I don't think this is available at the Santa Fe. I've had a look at the menus DLP Foodguide and it doesn't seem to offer this option on the breakfast menus for the Cheyenne or the Santa Fe - it just mentions continental breakfast.

In October 04 when we stayed at the SF there was hot food and fresh fruit available at breakfast at an extra cost to the standard breakfast, but they frequently change things at DLP so if you're really concerned I'd contact the hotel to ask.
I've a fussy 7 year old who always manages to find something to eat there, although like me he's not overly fussed on the hot selection, everything is a little too seasoned for me in the morning, or it could just be that I like chocolate spread and marmalade too much
What does your child usually have for breakfast ? if it's a favourite cereal - you could always take it with you.

Thanks for the replies everyone My daughter usually has fruit and cereal for her breakfast so it looks like she wont have any problems

The Hotel Cheyenne offered the cooked breakfast option for the additional charge so it my be worth contacting Santa Fe to see if this is available. To be honest the scrambled eggs are not what you would get at home and the bacon and sausages are somewhat spicier so it may not suit anyway
