Going to be in Disney the end of May with my family including my 2 year old grandson. Have never eaten breakfast at the Crystal Palace. How is it ? Have a reservation for 8:00.

Hi! i had breakfast with an 8.05 reservation a couple of years ago and i really enjoyed it! there was quite a good selection of food on the buffet and the character interaction was really good. also if its not an EMH day you can be at the front of the queue for rope drop :goodvibes

I agree with the PP, we really liked our breakfast at CP when we went in September and both of my kids asked to go back for our May trip. The character interaction is great and the food is fresh and hot. My DH really liked the breakfast pizza and the omlette station. Having a 8:05am ADR is awesome, you can get wonderful pictures of Main Street and the Castle before the crowds come in. Have a great time.

Lots of fun! The food for breakfast is very good...love the puffed french toast

I had breakfast there on my last trip (it was a solo/Dismeet trip, so I was by myself for this meal) and I really enjoyed it. It's a small thing, but I love grapes and CP had the BEST grapes I had all trip. Every other time I got them, they were squishy and gross. The rest of the food was good as well, and the character interaction was very nice (then again, I was wearing an Eeyore shirt...)

This is my favorite one! We've been to the castle for b'fast and dinner, dined at Chef Mickey's for b'fast and dinner, Garden Grill in Epcot, and a couple of others.

The b'fast food is so yummy. That atmosphere is so nice, and the character interaction is SUPERB!

My son and I are picky eaters and we loved the food. The fruit is delicious for some reason.....just scrumptious.

You will love the experience, I'm sure.

If you are going on a 9pm opening day, the 8am time will get you in before the park opens....such a treat! And you should be done in time to be near the front of the pack for Fantasyland rope drop. :thumbsup2

Due to monorail issues, on our 2nd b'fast a Crystal Palace, we arrived late to our early morning ADR. We were still able to finish the meal and see all 4 characters within an hour of checking in.

My sister and I loved it, it was the first ressie I made for our trip this coming September. The breakfast pizza is amazing, as is the puffed french toast. Like others said, the character interaction is really good, we were some of the first people seated so we were able to see a few of the character twice before we left.

We love CP and make a point of eating there at least twice per trip, one of the reservations being an early breakfast. We have always had a good experience there and as far as character buffets go, the food is pretty good. We have also always had good interaction with the characters and great service too.

I recommend it to any friends or family who go with a little one. (My kids are big now and still it's their favorite). It's a must!!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Crystal Palace-especially for breakfast! The setting is amazing (a gorgeous building right in the Magic Kingdom!), and the food is great, plentiful and fresh, and the characters (Pooh and friends), are great-not too intimidating which will be great for your little one

We are going again in December, I wouldn't skip Crystal Palace breakfast for anything!!!

Have fun!

Love Crystal Palace breakfast, and the characters are fun for the little ones. Very nice to get the 8:05 breakfast ADR when the park opens at 9, They let you in about 7:45 and you can walk down a mostly empty Main Street...get a few photos with virtually no one else in them (there will be other people going to restaurants for early breakfast, but not many. You can time your photo for few or no people behind your family in the photo. They even have photopass photographer out there early) If you get that earliest seating, you will see all the characters within the first 1/2 hour so chances are excellent you will be done before the park opens at 9...they will let you walk to a rope at Fantasyland (or whichever land you want to go to) and then you will be ready at "rope drop" to hustle to Dumbo or Peter Pan or whatever. Really, really fun way to start day.

This is my favorite breakfast on property! No trip is complete without seeing Tigger and Pooh at the CP! The food is amazing.

This is our favorite breakfast - we enjoy the bright/open atmosphere of CP, good character interaction & good buffet featuring puffed french toast :worship:

DH and I went here on our honeymoon and found the food selection to be very good, wasnt a long wait to get the food either. The Characters were in full force and make their way to every table. We ate the year before with our kids at the Character Dining across from Epcott, Im drawing a blank on the name, and found it very expensive, the Characters did hit every table but with a longer wait. Def liked Chrystal Palace much better!

This is my favorite character meal. Not only do I get to see Pooh but they also make chocolate chip pancakes at the omelet station.

I've eaten lunch there and I thought the food was very good...there was also a lot of character time for each table

My DH of 35 years and I will be celebrating our anniversary at WDW in just a few weeks. We have been to WDW many times but don't usually do meals that we have to make res for. This trip will be just the 2 of us (shhh don't tell our kids) and we have decided to do a couple of planned dining events. One of them is Crystal Palace for breakfast. We ate there with the kids about 15 - 20 years ago and have always talked about going back.
My questions are about timing. If our res is around 8:00, how early should we be at the turnstiles? Is there a special gate for people with reservations? Are the CMs ok with us taking our time strolling up the nearly empty Main Street?

FYI we are taking the Auto Train with a bedroom - I am soo excited! We took it once before but tried to sleep in coach - arrgghh.
Thanks.
See ya real soon!
