Is it legitimate to park at the CR for dining at Chef Mickey's and then walk to the MK for the am and drive back to our resort (OKW) at lunch time? Or do we have to leave after breakfast, drive to the MK parking lot and then take the monorail in to the MK?

Thanks!

You could also take a ride share or Minnie Van to CR and then walk to MK after eating at Chef Mickeys.

Yes, but we have a car, so I think we will just use that this time
If you want to pay for valet parking, you can leave your car there all day with no issue.

Otherwise, you risk getting your car towed.

The monorail resorts do not have large parking lots for the reason you indicated. They're too convenient to the MK.
That is what I was thinking. I guess that we will park in the MK parking lot and then take the monorail to the CR, as long as we are on the go with enough time! LOL If not, paying for valet parking is a good idea, as long as that is still allowed. I'm not talking about all day - just the morning

Oh, yes, valet parking is definitely allowed. Disney will be delighted to take your additional $7-8 over what parking at the TTC costs for those not eligible for free parking. Plus, tipping the valet who brings you your car upon leaving is customary.

The nice thing about valet parking is that you can then park for the rest of that day for free at any other Deluxe that has valet parking. So, if you have ParkHoppers and an ADR for lunch at Beaches and Cream, for instance, you could park at Beach/Yacht Club and go into Epcot after 2:00, leaving your car until the park closed if you wanted.
