Breakfast at BWV

I was wondering if anyone can tell me about their good breakfast experiences near the Broadwalk. We are going in April and this will be the first time we are staying at BWV (in a stuido). Thanks everyone...feel free to let me know if you'll be there too 16-23rd!!!

The Boardwalk Bakery is good for something quick and Spoodles is very nice for a sit down breakfast. You can also walk over to the BC for a Character B-Fast at Cape May.

I have stayed at BWV last December, and I will again this December.

The choices for breakfast on The Boardwalk just did not thrill me at all. Nothing looked interesting.

I went to The Yacht Club Galley at The YC, and Cape May Cafe at the BC.
It was about a 10 minute fast walk.

After eating breakfast at the buffet, I walked back to my room, but a much slower walk. LOL

Spoodles is a GREAT breakfast option. We at there at least twice for breakfast last year (a reasonable all you care to eat platter) and once for dinner. Spoodles is a must do for every trip!

We haven't eaten at Fresh (in the Swan/Dolphin...not sure which one), but it has also gotten good reviews.

Boardwalk Bakery is great for quick breakfast options. It just gets very crowded at peak times.

I agree, for full service, Spoodles is a great option. And the bakery...yum!

If you want something more akin to a food court, walk over to the Dolphin and check out Tubbi's Buffeteria. It has Starbuck's coffee and Krsipy Kreme donuts as well as the more usual fare. If you are a DVC member, you can get a 20% discount there.

Cape May has an excellent breakfast buffet. We loved it so much last time that it influenced our resort stay this time. Something for everybody (even picky ones), and the food was awesome. Can't go wrong there. The Boardwalk Bakery was very good and also the Bellevue lounge inside the Boardwalk. They served many of the things that the bakery had, but also had a few different choices.

Another vote for Spoodles. The breakfast platter is delicious! We went right before 11:00 and were able to order the platter (which is all you can eat). The waitress brought us out a huge refill platter (without us asking). I think they were getting ready for lunch and wanted to make sure we were taken care of before they quit cooking breakfast. Anyway, this sufficed as our lunch that day, so we got two meals for the price of one. The platter included pastries, eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage.

Here is another vote for Spoodles! We would not think of skipping breakfast at Spoodle's. Thier french toast is yummy. They have these huge mugs of hot chocolate with a swirl of whip cream top .. just the thing to get me going in the morning.

We like to get things from the bakery and take them to our room for a quick breakfast the next morning. That is one nice thing about being in a villa.

My DS and I love their breakfast items (especially their breakfast pizza). The coffee is also good. It's a really nice quiet way to start your day.

You absolutely have to go to the Boardwalk Bakery and get a breakfast burrito if you've spent a good evening at Jellyrolls the night before.

If you are there Oct 20, look for the two big guys with the obvious hangovers ordering the burrito's and say hi!

My favorite for breakfast of any of the restaurants at any of the parks or resorts.

Another great place is the Yacht Club Gally at the YC. They have a little buffet or you can order off the menu. Very good.

We just stayed there and liked the Boardwalk Bakery and also Gulliver's Grill at Garden Grove in the Swan hotel a boat ride or walk away. They have and all you can eat buffet and on weekends they have characters.
