Breakfast at Boma's, visiting AK

Hi.
How far is Boma's from AK? If we go for breakfast and then go to AK, can you walk? We are staying at POFQ, so could get there, eventually, by bus, or can drive, so could go direct to Bomas, go from AK, or visit AK and have breakfast later! Would appreciate help so I can book an ADR and you are such experts at getting around! Thanks.

you can not walk to the lodge from AK. to get there, you would have to do as you mentioned~bus or drive, either yourself or take a taxicab. we found it to be a challenge to get to the lodge for breakfast using wdw transportation, but it is do-able. you could do AK first and then take the AKL bus over for breakfast. or go to any park and take the AKL bus in time for breakfast. good luck! enjoy

I would definately recommend driving there. At that time in the morning, the bus trip and wait times could be long. Depending on the traffic, driving should take 15-25 minutes.

We were considering taking a cab from Beach Club to Animal Kindom Lodge to have breakfast at Boma, THEN going to the AK from the AKL. Any idea how much a cab might cost?

I think 15-25 minutes is a little on the "better safe than sorry" side of planning. My guess is more like 10 minutes from POFQ to AKL, barring disaster or a freak traffic jam.
