Breakfast at AKL?

We have a local Rainforest Cafe that my kids adore but because it is something we do all the time I planned to avoid it at Disney. However, I saw on allears that they have breakfast, which ours doesn't. Has anyone done the breakfast--If so: is the food good?; is it crowded?; would Donald's Breakfastosaurus be a better option? I was also considering Boma but is it a pain in the butt to either get from WL for the earliest seating or to leave AK to go to the AKL for a late breakfast and then head back? What would be our best choice? I'd like a few nice breakfasts rather than grabbing something at Roaring Forks each morning and thought our AK day might be a day to try one since we won't be using a table service for lunch/dinner...

Hiya,

Donald's gets really mixed reviews, but we've gone twice and liked it. We went late in the morning and while the food was winding down a bit (they close off part of the buffet line), it was still good, and we got lots of character interaction, which to me is the main point. If I want the food, I'll go to BOMA.

Yes, it's a lot of money for Breakfast, but it's in the park and convenient, and we have a Rainforest Cafe in Toronto so I'd rather go there when we're not at Disney.

Boma's Breakfast is very good. But it would be a lot of hassle for you to get to. We like Donald's breakfast alot. Been Twice. This would be great for you if you are doing Ak that day-by your post I assume that you are.

While staying at the WL, you may consider the Whispering Canyon. This is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This Restuarant is always an adventure.
