Breakfast at AK or EP?

We've recently extended our trip by one night, which means we have an extra TS credit lurking around without an ADR.

Talking it over with the Dbf we decided that an early entry into a park with a sit down breakfast would be a good idea. We normally don't eat a lot for breakfast, i.e. an orange or a poptart, so if we're using it as a TS we want it to be good.

We are paying OOP for the Crystal Palace, which we both think has an amazing breakfast (maybe we're just easily pleased?) and something of a similar quality would be good.

Characters are fun, but we could really care less which set we get... what we want to know is which place is more fun, and gives you a better chance of beating the massive surge of crowds at rope drop?

We like Donald's Safari breakfast at Tusker House.
We never eat breakfast at Epcot so don't have a suggestion there. Unless you do Cape May at the Beach club. But I assume you won't have a car and are looking to just eat in the park?

Tusker House brkfst @ AK or Akershus @ Epcot would get you into the park early and done in time for rope drop if you got an 8:00 adr on a non-emh day. Like you, we also love Crystal Palace brkfst and feel that both Tusker House & Akershus fall way short of Crystal Palace. Tusker House gives you a decided advantage because the restaurant is so close to the Kilimanjaro Safari attraction and Tusker House also gets alot of positive feedback, so I would suggest Tusker House.

The only TS breakfast at Epcot is the Princess breakfast at Akershus.

IMO, using TS credits for breakfast don't pay on the dining plan.

While I agree a TS breakfast isn't a good "value" for the DDP, we used them twice for breakfast on our last trip.

If you're headed over towards AK--what about stopping at the Lodge and going to Boma? You'd probably have to take 2 buses, unless you have a car, but they have a delicious breakfast buffett! Cape May at the Beach Club is also very good (you could get there via Epcot).

My new favorite is Kona at the Poly. Can't wait to go back there!
