I've booked the following breakfast ADR's for our trip in November. I'm still trying to work out the details of our plan and I will eventually only need 2 of these.

Our trip will involve 2 moms and 2 young girls (ages 3 & 4). Which 2 would you keep?

1. CRT 8:05 am (spending all day at MK)
2. Tusker House 10:30 am (morning at AK/ afternoon at DHS)
3. Akershus 8:00 am (morning at Epcot/ afternoon at MK)
4. Chef Mickey's 10:30 am (Day of Departure- won't visit parks this day)

Also, would someone please start a rumor about the food being bad at The Plaza so folks will cancel their reservations? I want to eat there for dinner in November and cannot get an ADR! :)

I would keep CRT and CM. I actually like TH better than CM, but I don't think an ADR at 10:30 is the best use of AK time.

That's odd. The Plaza is a very easy resi to get. They might be closed during your trip due to the work being done at the hub area. And while I LOVE the location and atmosphere of the Plaza, it's a waste of a TS credit IMO due to limited menu and relatively low cost...

No reason to keep both CRT and Akershus. CRT is like gold, so keep it. Chef Mickey's at 10:30 is a great way to end your trip. Good food. Visit Mickey one last time and take a monorail ride around before leaving. Perfect. Tusker is good, but those are my votes.

I thought so too! I was shocked when I called at the 180+ mark and the only thing available was 4:20 PM! I'm hoping something will open up. We aren't on DDP, so I'm not worried about wasting a credit.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone!

I agree with this. CRT and Akershus are so close in experience that I would only keep one and I prefer CRT, especially if you've never done it. I also prefer Chef Mickey's over Tusker House. While AK is not a big park, if you're only dedicating 1/2 a day to it I wouldn't use half of that time at a TS restaurant. I like having CM as a way to end the trip. Enjoy your vacation!

I am not alone when I say I will never go to Chef Mickey's again. Dirty, slow, and the worst food at a Disney buffet I've ever found. The characters spend less time with you here than any other character meal in my experience. I went to dinner, and forced myself to go once more when my second daughter came along because I wanted her to meet Mickey and his whole gang. I tried breakfast instead of dinner, which was better - but only slightly. It's like a madhouse in there, and I normally love all Disney buffets.

If your heart is set on CM, my second choice would be to get rid of Akershus. I liked it, but CRT is better in my opinion. It's more crowded/cramped, but I prefer the food over Akershus. And I also prefer the setting for the picture they take as you walk in. Akershus isn't nearly as grandiose. Very cute princess parade though. CRT is overpriced, but I still prefer it over Akershus.
