Will we need ressies if we want to eat breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe?

It depends on a number of factors like how many people are in your party, and what day of the week are you planning to go. If it's two on a weekday, then probably not, if it's 6-8 on a weekend, then you'll probably need ADRs.

We had breakfast there this past Monday. We had an 8:30 AM ADR and it wasn't crowded at all. I would say you probably don't need an ADR but it can't hurt to have one. (BTW, this was the best breakfast we had on property!)

I agree with Happy Haunt. if you are a small party than probably not but if more than that i would. Remember that it's better to be safe than sorry. That way you will know that your eating there.
