Heya. I'm really excited about going on Indiana Jones during our next trip, but I've been hearing a lot of stories of it breaking down and having to be evacuated. I know these things do happen every once in a while, but it seems from what I've heard that they have evacs there twice as often as any other ride. Also, we have a little one in our party that's terrified of skeletons, so while she would probably be able to handle passing by them (like in POTC) I think she'd lose it if we would have the luck to break down in front of something creepy!
Is it really as bad as I've heard???

)and the lights didn't come on for about 5 (long) minutes. There were a few small ones in our car so we turned on our cel phones and cameras (with LCD) to get a little light. A CM arrived in about 8-10 mins. and we were stuck there for about 30 min. Unfortunately, the park was closed when we exited so no more rides that day. I felt the 30 mins. it took to evacuate was too long and stopped by City Hall to make a complaint. The CM took the information and said "thanks"
She also told me that during the recent earthquake it took over 2 hours to evacuate Pirates (I guess the point was that I should feel lucky it only took 1/2 hr.
). The reason we were stuck so long was we had to wait for another CM to come as it takes 2 to have you exit the car and walk out. Even the CM was getting annoyed at the delay.
