Does anyone eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am planning my ADR's, and usually we just eat a big breakfast, and dinner with snacks in between. We are taking our 18 month old this time though, and I think she will want to eat more often. Does everybody book all meals?

We do.

We got into the habit many years ago when we always did the deluxe plan which in those days didn't include CS except in the hotels. And who wants to do CS anyway when you can have a nice breakfast.

Anyway, it is a custom we've very much come to cherish. A very relaxing way to enjoy vacation and family time for us.

I think you should try to book most dinners if you are eating at the table service restaurants-don't worry about booking bkfst unless its a character meal-counter svc meals are no problem and there are snacks etc everywhere-we booked 2 out of 4 dinners and we were fine. :moped:

I try and book either a breakfast or a dinner for each day, and wing the other meal. Lunch is usually on the fly, if we r hungry or not. I find that if we eat a large breakfast at a buffet style meal, that we arent hungry til close to dinner time.

Since our son is 19 months, we have booked one character breakfast, Christmas Eve, and Christmas day. Other than that, we will be eating as we go. I will be packing snacks and breakfast goods and having water delivered to the room. As much as we would love to enjoy making ADR for each night, I believe we may just have to settle for grabbing a quick bite until DS is a bit older.

I thought I would pack snacks for her, and of course I could stop and grab her a quick bite if she was hungry. What time do you plan break, lunch & dinner to fit in all three? I was planning breakfast for 9, lunch for 2, and dinner for 7. Does that sound do able?

I like the schedule you have planned. Its hard to assume how the day is going to go with such little ones. I am going to try to stick to regular eating times as much as possible.

'The plan is' to eat breakfast around 6:30 am-we are all early risers. We will snack mid morning, lunch around noonish, snacks mid-day, and dinner around 6pm. DS goes to bed at 7pm and I would like to keep him on that. Of course all of this is in a perfect world so we will see how things go? It will be such a long day for all of us that retiring back to the room by 7 should be good. It would be great to see some of the evening shows, but its not worth keeping an overtired toddler out.
When DH and I went in 2001 we never booked any meals? :confused3 Although we went in July and not December. Maybe it is a thought to book at least one meal per day? I am going to have to think about it-we just picked up the Unofficial Guide to WDW 2006 and WDW with kids. Both books have good tips and I will still have to do some more research.

We always book Beakfast and Dinner. For lunch if hungry, we grab counter service, but normally Breakfast and Dinner works great for us. If I ate lunch, I would be too full to eat Dinner. As for your baby, I would brind her/him some snacks or PB&J.

Breakfast~ DH and I will order. DD's 2 and 15 will not. 2y old will share and 15y will have juice and nibble from my plate.

about 10 am~ When the CS places start to smell like burgers or BBQ, 15y old will suddenly be STARVING. We will all sit down so she can eat DH and I will share a drink. 2y old will likely cut into DD's action.

12/1 is LUNCH for me and DH. DD15 will either want a desert, or shop or take dd2 for a walk if shes not hungry.

Parade time. A trip to one of the bakeries or ice cream or candy shops will be in order.

6 ish~ Dinner (We will all eat together:))

If still in parks at 8/9~ One more goody stop before leaving

Yes, I admit it, we do make pigs of ourselves... So what? :rotfl:
