I know everyone has their minds set on Christmas...but we have our sites set on Spring Break.

This just seems like it is one of the only times we can all get away between work, school, and having 2 very active kids...(4 differnt basketball teams (2 each kid), Softball, Baseball, Volleyball, Track, Cross Country) and not counting church and family and friends...Whew, I hope I covered everything and everyone. It just seems like we are sneeking to even do this. When we went in June this year DD missed a weeks worth of Softball and All star try outs. Good thing for her that the coach allowed her to make up her try out...she made the team of course!

OK, now I will try to be brave but go ahead and tell me...How bad will the crowds be?

Get to the parks early. Have a plan. Take an afternoon break. Make ADRs early.

You'll be fine; you've been often enough recently to know what gets busy first, how to use fastpass, etc. If you are looking for more tips, and haven't been during a peak season week before, UG or TGM will be more than worth buying.

It depends on the week of ur spring break. BF has his Spring Break the first week of March, we we'll be there then. I would check out the Crowd Calender on touring plans .com

It's crowded but doable. I agree that you should do the parks early, take a mid-day break & then go back to the parks at night.

If you stay on-site you'll ge the Extra Magic Hours & there will be less commuting time.

Take as long of a trip as possible so you can hopefully plan some "down" days to hang at the pool.

We've gone during our Spring Break, which is over Easter for about the past 6 years. I always said I would never go then, but then my kids got older (darn them!!!) & it's just easier to go during their school break.

We have so much, even if it is crowded. :thumbsup2

I always avoided Spring Break until we had to go and guess what we had a great trip! Yes it is crowded but the hours are so long that you have more than enough time to get on everything. Your kids are older and with all the sports have stamina so plan on staying late, MK was open till midnight, and you will find you can do everything you want. The only thing you need to plan is eating the CS lines get very long if you try to eat at popular times.

We've been going to WDW the first 10 days in March for years, 2006 included. I'd call the crowds 'Moderate'. Get there early, use FP and you won't miss much. I had a TGM schedule given't to me by a co-worker this year and things seemed to go more smoothly than ever, I'll probably subscribe myself for 2007. One thing that's changed is that we used to be able to get ressies for Epcot restaurants on short notice while on vacaton, often as walk-ins. No more. The dining plans have forced the issue on ADRs in addition to which Teppanyaki and the Rose & Crown are closed for rehab for at least parts of March. Thankfully, the R&C pub remains open so you can cancel my suicide watch.

Thanks for the tips so far...

We are going the last week of March.:scared1: We do have or have had the officail guide, TUG, TGM, and passporter. It just seems like the DIS is the best advice I have ever gotton so I just keep coming back to the best sorce. Not to mention I feel like I know some of you, and like getting advice from friends instead of some book.

We already have our ADR's...That much I am ok on. We are planning EMH in the mornings and then have ADR's for breakfast before leaving that park for the day. While my kids are able to go and go my DH will be ready to be back in the room or at the pool semi early. And as far as down time...Whiel I am sure that it works for some people...for us we feel we are wasting time. Our down time is when we sit to watch a show, or have a longer than normal TS meal. I can rest on the drive back home.

I'm sure it will be crowded but the good thing about spring break unlike the week of christmas is that everyones spring break is different. So yes it will probably be crowded but not all spring breakers will be there the week you will be.

We will be there 4/7-4/11 which of course is Easter. Everyone says crowds will be huge but we are ready to have a good trip anyway.
