Break-ins at WDW Parking Lot???

As long as it is not visible you should be fine.

Not necessarily. Our car was broken into about 1.5 years ago. The GPS and my son's Nintendo DS was taken. Both were hidden in the console out of site. The tram driver we flagged down acted like it was not an uncommon occurance. He said it was suspected that cab drivers were doing this. (I can't remember why they thought this was the case.) They were supposed to send security to the car, but we waited a long time but they never came. We got frusterated and left.

You just never know...

:sad2: Sorry this happened to you and your family. Just curious, which park was this at?

We were just checking in at Beach Club on October 24th and had left our luggage in the car while walking towards the lobby. A guy standing near a humvee stopped us and said, "Don't leave anything in your car. Mine was broken into last night." I guess a pair of very expensive sunglasses and other items were taken. We were careful about leaving anything in the car after that. There is a security check point at the entrance to resort so not sure who the culprit was.

Epcot. It was actually my parents minivan. My dad had just bought the $400GPS not long before the trip. (It couldn't have been the $125 model we had.) My DS9 was so mad that someone took his DS that we went on Ebay to try to find someone trying to sell it. I tried to explain that there was no way to figure it out that way, but he still looked anyway....
