Has anyone figured out the break even point for an annual pass to DL vs a three day? We will be there for 4 days, was going to buy a 3 day, but am wondering if I would save by having the annual. We live in Arizona 6 hrs away and could do an extra trip. Thanks so much for your input...:santa:

If you take two trips and do 3 day park hoppers ($159 x 2 = $318) for each trip, you will be ahead by about $50 by buying the Annual Pass ($259). You come out just less than even if you buy 1 day park hopper ($91) for the second trip.

Add in the savings for DLR hotels and food and you come out further ahead.

Just add up how many times you might go, and how much each group of tickets would cost!

We had 5 day hoppers, and knew that we would go at least one more day another time in the year, and the 5 day plus one 1 day would have been more than the deluxe AP, so, since we had the money, it was a no-brainer.

And of course include in your thoughts the 10% off most food with the deluxe (and lower), and 10% off most merchandise plus 15% off most food with the premium... Add to that the little benefits; like I was able to pre-order POTC3 plus some special fun things through delivear, b/c of the AP...or pins when you spend over $30 in a restaurant and use your AP discount...that sort of thing.

Anyway, it's more about how many times you'll go, versus a straight number of times, b/c you could get 3 one-day hoppers for more than an AP, or you could get a 5 day hopper plus a one day for about the same cost as those 3 one-days, etc. I'm not sure if any of the length of hoppers gets to the cost of an AP (most I've seen mentioned that you can get is an 8 day, other than something I think Albort has mentioned through foreign travel agencies) costs more than a deluxe AP, but since there is no no-expiration option, that only covers one multi-day stay, and if you go again inside those 365 days, you have to get another chunk of tickets, and that is where the AP savings show up. :)
