Braves spring training

Could someone tell me how far it is to the Braves Spring Training stadium in Kissimee? Just curious as my son loves baseball and the Braves but we don't really want to miss a day at the parks!!

It's about a 35 minute drive from Universal. Not too bad, but not sure if that will upset him.

Thanks Do you know much about what goes on besides playing the game? I haven't mentioned it yet to him. we will not have a car so it may be pricey to get there.

As far as I know the Braves practice at the sports complex at Walt Disney World. They have information about times and prices on their website, I'll try and find the link and add it to this thread.

Thanks we will be there 3/20-3/26 but I think we will pass and stay at the parks.

Check out a book called "Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring the Grapefruit League" by my friend Alan Byrd.

It will help your son pick the best seats and get autographs.

Alan says that osceola Stadium, very close by, offers a more "traditional" Spring Training experience.
