I've taken my 2 youngest children to WDW alone twice now. We had a BLAST on the trips.
There are a few threads about this, so you can do a search to read them. But the main points I made are these:
-If your children are the type who fight over who gets to do things, or where they sit, then make sure this is thoroughly planned out and talked about before the trip.
-Play act going to the airport at home. I was so worried that my kids would do something crazy at the airport that would get us kicked out...lol. We went over everything from standing in line QUIETLY, to getting our shoes off and how to walk through security.
-Teach the kids what to do if they get lost.
-Tell the kids they can act like kids at WDW, but they MUST act like adults at the airport.
-Get the
DDP. It's so cheap for one adult and 2 children. Plan on doing many character dinings. We went to the restaurant in Norway for the first time. We all loved it! Even my son.
-I guarantee the kids' bladders will be stronger than yours! lol. Tell the kids that when mom has to have a bathroom break, everyone must come along. Well, your kids are younger than my kids. My kids would say things like, "oh we'll hang out in the store while you go to the bathroom." Uh, I don't think so.
Have a great trip!
