Brave DD has chicken DM

If you are too chicken to ride a ride with your DD, can you at least accompany them to the front of the line and then wait for them at the exit?

I'm not chicken about rides so I have no answer to your question. But you made me chuckle calling yourself a chicken DM !!!

I don't know for sure but I would think any ride with a chicken exit would be doable this way. Some rides like star tours you could continue through the row and follow the last group out if you are quick. I'm sure someone will know for sure later today.

How old is your child??? WDW says at least 7 to ride alone but I would want to be sure that your child is old enough to handle the ride alone.

DD is 17. Just kidding! She's 9 and very capable of riding. I am mostly concerned about the R&R coaster, ToT, Space & Splash Mountain, Mission Space, etc...

My granddaughter is 8 1/2 and they wouldn't let her ride anything alone-not even Aladin!

I have an experience with this. On our last trip (this past Sept/Oct) it was just me and my two DDs, ages 6 and 9; DH stayed home.

Well, we went into the Space Mountain line and as we got closer and closer, my 6 year old started to get scared. When we got to the ride to be loaded, I told the CM that my 6 year old decided she didn't want to ride it but can my 9 year old ride it and I'll wait at the exit for her and the CM said yes and my 9 year old rode Space Mountain alone and I met her right at the exit of the ride itself (not in the shop).

So it doesn't hurt to try. Ask at each ride.
