Brand of coffee served at All Star Resorts?

Does anyone know what brand of coffee is being served in the All Star Resort food courts? Last time we were there it was still Nescafe (gack). I am hoping that with Starbucks and Joffreys coffee showing up more and more around WDW, maybe the Value Resorts have followed suit. I'd love to have a cup of coffee before we hit the parks in the morning...but if it's Nescafe I will bypass filling my mug and will shell out big bucks for the real thing in the parks. Thanks for any info! :coffee:

Hi Suzy,

No help on the particular brand or scheduled roll-out date for other brands (sorry!), but I concur on the "gack." I attend a lot of conventions across the country each year, along with a consistent group of others; we've come to call that particular grade of brew "toilet coffee." It doesn't have to be brewed in the potty, but it sure does taste as though it has been. The coffee in the All-Star Resorts -- we were at Movies during the last week of May -- certainly does taste that way.

It is indeed Joffrey's. If you like your coffee so strong that you could strip paint with it, then you will love it. Otherwise I would consider bringing your own small coffee pot and brewing your own. And yes, this is allowed. I checked with front desk before check out last month because I plan to be back in October and definitely want to bring my own!

Thank you for the responses! I'm excited to hear that it is Joffrey's...for me that HAS to be a step up from the Nescafe. If we were driving I would most definitely bring a small coffee maker...but we are flying, so I don't want to bother. Last time I pretty much skipped coffee at wake up...got up, got ready, went to the parks and made a beeline for the first Joffrey's stand I could find. I enjoy my coffee and not having a good cup of real coffee puts a (very minor) ding in my vacation. Thanks guys!
