I've lurked here for a while each time we've kicked around the idea of doing a trip to Disney, but I finally have a reason to JOIN!
After a year that can at best be categorized as "Lifetime Movie Worthy" my amazing in-laws have given us their DVC points so my husband, two daughters 3&4, and 58 year old aunt with Down Syndrome who lives with us can finally go to Disney.
I cannot even tell you the ELATION I am feeling right now. We are booked January 6-12 at Old Key West. I'm excited about just that! I've been to Disney twice before but have never stayed on property.
Anyway, my husband, though excited, doesn't share my enthusiasm. Or as he calls it "sick, freakish obsession." So I thought I'd take out my joviality on people who could appreciate it.
This is the first trip I'm planning. Each other time I went with a school group. So I'm sure I'll have a ton of stupid questions. But mostly it'll just be me trying not to scream with joy at the idea of seeing my kids' and aunt's faces when the fireworks start.
