Brand new owners of BLT!!!!!

Quick question for you other owners, we went to BLT last time and stayed in a 1BR and it was fabulous! I'm hearing a lot now that the studio (which we have booked for this time) is tiny. Is it really that bad?

Quick question for you other owners, we went to BLT last time and stayed in a 1BR and it was fabulous! I'm hearing a lot now that the studio (which we have booked for this time) is tiny. Is it really that bad?

Well you've been spoiled with a 1BR so going to any studio will be hard. The problem with a BLT studio is that the square footage is small, 329. It's a little unusual that a studio would have three rooms, bedroom, bathroom and combination room that combines the bathroom vanity and kitchenette. On one wall is the vanity and the other the kitchenette. That means they are only a few feet at most apart. There has been a lot of discussion about that room and many are unhappy with it. They don't like the idea of someone brushing their hair or using hair spray while someone else fixes breakfast in the same room.

The bedroom area is short changed on space because of the footage given to the combo room. That means that bedroom area is pretty tight as there isn't a lot of space between the queen bed and the pull out couch and no space between the couch and the outside wall. Same with the the table and chairs, not enough room to use the chairs properly. When we stayed there we just sat in the chairs sideways.

However for a couple there is plenty of room. I also believe a young family with small children will do okay. I'm still impressed with the amount of storage in the combo room. I think that room has more storage than many of the DVC's 1 or 2 BR kitchens. BTW we stayed in Villa 8028 a BLT studio the first week of March and in that room did not see any evidence of hair products (as the poster in the link mentions) on the kitchen side of the combo room. If I did, I'd call Mousekeeping to come clean it.
