I have two weeks to spend in Florida this year and am going to Universal and WDW but want to spend a couple days doing other things. I was going to fly into Miami and drive to Key West and then up to Orlando but I need to shave some dollars of the cost. I have been to Kennedy Space Center alread and was thinking of going to Sarasota to the Ringling museum and then to spend a couple nighs in some not to expensive beach resort with a balcony and view of the beach. You all are so great at suggestions and experiance I was hoping you might help with ideas of what to see and mostly where to stay. I am not looking to stay at Quality Inns and Econolodge. I want a resort styl atmosphere and will pay up to $125 a night. I will venture 2-4 hours away from the WDW area to either coast. I will be by myself...so far. Go to it everyone.
