Bragging on Facebook

So, has anyone ever put "friends" on ignore on FB. I've done it to 2 or 3 people. I was so sick of their posts.

One girl............was waiting for Prince Charming & every date she had was "the one" until a few weeks later when things fell apart.

Next one..........engaged to be married to the most wonderful guy in the world....until they argued & she "could do nothing right & she obviously wasn't good enough". Then he was "just the best", blah, blah, blah. They got married a few months ago.

I think there was one more.

We're still "friends" but I don't see their statuses any more.

I want to put one of my nieces on ignore. She is 28 in the Air Force, mother of 2, but posts things for shock value like she is a 14 year old boy. She's so trashy that her posts make me mad, she's family so I would feel bad unfriending her, but I don't want to see that she let her 3 year old watch Jack*** 3D, or the picture of her 5 year old flipping off the camera.....:sad2:

I haven't ignored her yet, but I really should since she just makes me mad.

No joke. I never knew all the many things people were judging others for every second of every day. I can't even imagine how many people I have irked without ever realizing it. Oh well :rotfl:

And pp I hope you put your countdowns back up if they make you happy :goodvibes

I did put it back. and so far, the complainer hasn't complained. maybe he unfriended me! :rotfl:

Maybe your friend should cancel her internet & then she'd be able to get her smokes or whatever else she needs. :sad2:

Well--she's not really a friend! When they first moved to town her husband volunteered where I worked. I met her through there and felt bad for her--young girl with 2 kids at the time--trying to make a go of life. She sent an invite and I accepted........Then realized what the reality was. And they are very vocal around about their "lifestyle".....thank goodness they finally moved away! I have thought many times about deleting her--but she truly is entertainment to see what new low she can post about each day.

Theres another girl, who is skinny, who always posts how fat she is and that the whole house must shake when she walks. Shes always talking about diet/workout....I think she does it to get responses because she is in no way fat at all!

I have the friend also that every 15 minutes her life is great, then crappy, then back to great...at first I felt bad for her (we were old high school friends) but days like today where she has posted seven times already and its only 11am :confused3 i'm thinking my "Hide All Post" button is coming up~

Last night I finally Un-friend'ed someone, I've have hidden people but this was to much...
One of the divorcing couples on mine and my hubby's page has got really nasty and yesterday it went to a whole other level...in our town we had an incident where a man jumped off a local bridge and died just a couple days ago, and as you can imagine it was on many of FB pages.

Well another friend posted something to the effect that it was sad that the man had thought he had nothing and to end his life that way, and the husband in the one divorcing couple posted under it
"Yeah as soon as i heard what went on I was hoping it was my soon to be ex-wife, I figured she could do the same thing as her dad did back in the 90's, bummer!" :sad2:

The fact is her dad did jump from this bridge and died in 91' I have never been more sickened than I was at that moment :sad2:

I promptly went in an un-friend'ed him on mine and my hubby's page. Not the he will care be any means but it made me feel better~
